Yup that first one is exactly what I'm talking about. Defenders playing deep halves or Deep thirds giving up way too much depth creating huge holes in zones, particularly in the middle of the field.

That defender just kept giving depth and depth and depth, despite no threat to his area. Just a lack of contextual awareness. This is exactly what I'm talking about. Doesn't happen on every play though for whatever reason.

The second one I don't mind as much as this to me looks like a "dice roll" with a guy not playing it well from a playcall/ratings perspective.

I should ask YOU that. I agreed with posters saying coverage is bad and said i wasnt about to record and save video to show what others have already recorded and posted but wanted it fixed. You know, what threads are for. NOONE had posted a recorded vid showing these so called good coverages in madden; yet are bashing the ones saying otherwise. I asked them to prove it instead of deflecting the issue we want fixed. AGAIN, what are YOU adding to the thread, since you cant be following along.

Also, just played a game on all pro with coverage and reaction sliders maxed, qb accuracy at 30 and pass protection at 30 and it played incredibly well. Might be a fluke, but I'm excited to play more.

You just keep talking about broken with zero specifics and then looking to argue with people who don't agree with you. You've added nothing of note to this conversation other than to muddy the waters and are a prime example why this forum in general gets the bad reputation it does. Posts like yours just make it harder to find the actual data and information people are looking for and trying to discuss.

But that shouldn’t have happened like at all. I mean he started dropping and backpedaling AFTER the receiver planted and faced the ball. I almost wonder if there is just some delay programmed into the defenders that can be turned wayyyy down. Man defenders are breaking the wrong way long after they should and zone defenders are waiting way too long to break on a pass. Maybe? Just throwing thoughts out.

As expected, they absolutely butchered this game in comparison to what we got in the beta. The beta was perfect, and they dialed the defense down significantly because the competitive crowd was complaining. Now the defense is arguably worse than it's been in the last several years. Specifically the AI defense, which is pathetic even when turning up the sliders.

Lol. So you're blaming me because the coverage out of the box is too soft. There are solutions posted to max sliders and drop some to bandaid the issue, and now im the problem because i want EA to fix this issue. If i posted a video, will that make my point more valid, than agreeing with an already posted video? This is why OS gets a bad rep. People post examples of something wrong and then are bashed and have to try and decode the game to prove they know what they are talking about when its something as simple as a DB giving too much cushion when not necessary. If i want good gameplay i have to play with slider sets to get it as close to what it should be as possible; or else, im the issue with getting something looked into and fixed.

I'm done with it. I guess if I want something to be better when i buy it, without trying to tweak settings that shouldnt need to be tweaked, im the bad guy. Smh, its pathetic

I think it's the result of a "dice roll" for a ratings call. It's just poorly represented. Like I said I have much less of an issue with that one than the first one. The first one with the deep defender depth issues is the biggest issue in my mind by far.
