I'm not saying that he will light it up immediately after he gets out. But if anything, his preparation/habits/work ethic might improve dramatically. If that happens, I think eventually he could make a comeback. Physically, it's never been a problem.....we're not talking about Tommy Maddox, Jon Kitna, or Kurt Warner here. We're talking about a guy who if nothing else, he produced based off sheer athleticism.

Again 3 years away from the game, at that position. How do you figure. Playing QB in the NFL is unbelievably challenging even when you are abosrbed in it full time. Not to mention he was struggling at the position to begin with.

I see no way he'll be able to just pick up where he left off 3 years later.

Again, 3 years away from the game. This is the NFL. What makes you think he's going to retain that athleticism after being in the joint for 2 years? And "produced" is tricky here. Because he really wasn't producing.

Yeah getting Vick after 3 years out of the league is really going to solve their QB problems. They had QB problems when he was here and 100%.

I predict Vick's comeback in the NFL after his prison sentence will be as spectacular and successful as Ricky William's recent return to the gridiron.

                  With Vick

                  Without Vick

Sure looks like he was producing for the Falcons to me.
Also he will still sell. Believe it. PETA can stand outside the stadium all they want but nobody is going to give a damn. People WILL come see him play again.

His team had a winning record during his tenure, went deep into the playoffs multiple times, and consistently had the top rushing offense in the league when he was around. I'm not saying that he was a great or even very good QB, but what he did was still alot better than many QB's around the league.

And like I said, I never felt like the biggest problem with Vick was his physical skills, his fundamentals, or even his accuracy. It was his unwillingness to get better, to take personal accountability. You could see it when he blamed things on his team/coaches. I've never played with Vick, so I don't know how his preparation for opponents were, but from what I've heard...they were pretty bad for a NFL QB. I'm saying he will only get better in this regard.

Whether, he retains his physical gifts remains to be seen....as if he gets it mentally. But I think it is more than possible.

New coaching staff. Ton of injuries Joey at QB what to you expect.

What you fail to mention is he was 15-17 his last two years and they were getting worse every year.

His last full year he completed a whopping 52% of his passes and his QB rating was actually less than it was in his 2nd year.

                        Yeah he was playing awesome.

Most of "us" don't. A LARGE percentage of "us" don't but those of us who do get caught up get treated very differently than "others".

I know this for a FACT. I'd have a criminal record right now if A) I didn't have a little knowledge and B) didn't have a little money. Make a long story short the public "defender" came to me with a BS plea and I immediately cursed her out. She never asked me one question. Never met her before in my life and here she comes , calls out my name, and throws a BS plea that she recommends for "us" to present to the judge. Little did they know I already hired a lawyer and , after several visits due to the prosecution not being ready, had the case thrown out. Not too mention I was innocent to begin with.

I've seen it way too many times "we" get put in the system on pure BS. Once your in the system they can play games with you and they do.

They went deep in to the playoffs once. And didn't sniff them his last two years.

I just don't think people realize exactly how difficult it is to be away from the game that long, and then to try to play at that level at that position.

I do think he deserves another chance, when he gets out, I just don't see anyway for him to be succesful.

Vick did get treated differently. HE got off lighter than if he was some nobody off the street.
