Clearly you have no clue what has been going on in New Jersey. You might Google "NFL fights legalizing sports betting in New Jersey" before deciding what the NFL wishes.

        Only a fine for Pacman.

No suspension or fine for Suh.

I can see the no suspension for Suh but he should be at least fined. Pacman definitely should've been suspended a game.

True, I didn't. They say they're against traditional sports betting (as in betting on point spread, win/loss, etc), because they're worried it would affect competitive balance and increase suspicion of teams/players shaving points or straight up taking dives. I guess I'll take them at their word on that. Fanduel/DraftKings seems to be more than okay with them, tho.

What has Pacman done in the last 2 years? That's why there was a fine for Suh's last infraction and his suspension was overturned I thought, CBA terms had him back to first-time offender.

You are correct. But FanDuel and Draft Kings are nothing more than fantasy football which would be nearly impossible to fix as compared to betting straight up or against the spread. That's why the NFL is not afraid of it.

The NFL doesn't want an expansion of legalized sports books, but they are more than content with having them available as they are. They have no problem keeping a captive audience in garbage time (like the first Thursday night game) And they have no problem with the commentators "hinting" at the significance of garbage time scores.

Man, what was the NFL thinking bundling Rewind, Audio Pass and Preseason Live into an overpriced $100 package? That's almost as much as I pay for an entire MLB season of LIVE games. Rewind was $40 last year.

I'm out this year, and I hope their sales take a hit from it.

Since there isn't a game thread i'll just put this here...I dunno what to make of ESPN MNF's new graphics package. It screams "video game" big time but in a good way I think...

It would take getting used to but I think I give it a thumbs up. At least it's very easy to read. My poor eyes thanks the folks over at Bristol.

Random: Just found out that former Bills kicker Rian Lindell is a high school assistant coach in Seattle now.
