Sorry for my ignorance but, help me understand something:

With these tool(s), can one edit the salary and contract length of a player? I.E. I created Joey Diamond, who is now in the Islanders system. He was signed to a 1 year 2 way contract worth about 650g. I created him for a particular roster save and then started a Bagm. Now since I can't edit any contract aspects, when the Bagm mode was started, he was signed to a 3 year deal. And it was NOT an entry level contract as he would be an UFA when the contract was up. I restarted the mode, and this time he had a 2 year deal and UFA status.

So can these aspects be edited with a roster file save?
Can they be edited with created players?
Is there a user friendly version in development?

Yes you can edit contract amount, length, whether it's entry level or not, etc. Yes you can do it for created players too. Yes, there is a user friendly version in development but no one has any idea what the time line for it's release is and it's probably not coming til Novemberish.

Richiedude; I don't think there's anyway you can use these rosters for GMC. Think about it. It's an online game mode. How are the other people, playing on their own consoles, going to have the same custom edited data that you loaded into yours? Unless the game generates the rosters for everyone according to the DATA on the commissioners console (unlikely) you're going to be stuck using the most recent EA provided online roster.

well, if you do a fantasy draft the rosters would be generated/uploaded from the creation w/the commisioner ...... so ....... see what you mean but if the rosters are grabed from commisioner's console, even though the last official downloaded roster is used - - - in theory -- might it work??

I didn't know about custom rosters = the most current EA downloaded roster.

I hope you're right Richie but I'm not holding my breath on this.

But in a fantasy draft, everyone is participating in the draft from their consoles and the data is being saved. That or it saves to a server, like a cloud. Either way, I don't think it can be generated from one user's console.

I know it would be a tonne of work, but I wonder if there's a way to make it that in the player card we could make the stats history reflect the teams the player was playing for rather then just "NHL", "AHL", etc.

I've tried for 3 days, before and after work, and I just start going cross-eyed every time I look at the 'user-friendly' instructions.

Working beautifully in NHL 13 (360) for me, so I'm sure PS3 is no different.

Same here actually.

Although I don't think that a video tutorial is needed, just a simple step-by-step guide will be very useful as well.

I have all the tools here and tried to get things working but I'm having some issues... Bruteforce Save Data doesn't allow me to decrypt. I don't really know what to put in to the .conf -file? My username and the PS3 id which can be found with a hex editor? I'm trying to extract with the DB Patcher, but I does not create a .db file. Any help?

Run Bruteforce Save Data as administrator.

I don't get what I'm supposed to do after I download the NHL DB Patcher for the PS3 file.
