Can someone upload a NHL13/NHL14 BeaGM save file for X360? Got my tool working with PS3 so far and looking to add X360.

For anyone is Playing NHL13, I have already created a config file for the EA DB Editor, that works for the Be a GM mode, and it is about 30-40% completely identified. I will probably try to do some more and release it tomorrow, once DPyro releases his tool. I can verify that editing Be a GM is possible as I was able to create a DB file using the Hex Editor and test the edit capabilities. I had to use Hex Edit to merge the mutiple DATA files and also to break them back apart before repacking the file, and it did work!! I am understanding that the tool DPyro is working on will eliminate the need to use Hex Edit for combining and then breaking back out the multiple DATA files, like I was having to before.

And sadly we will still have to do the movements in game as I tried to assign a player to a team (Hannan, team id 26 aka SJ), no go. He was still in that players who retired's team. So mostly attributes and the stuff on edit screen will work, from what I've played around with so far.

That sucks! That was the main thing I was gonna use this tool for was completely updating rosters(since you can sort guys alphabetically so its much easier to find anyone in any league)

Did you assign the player to the team by using the "Pro Team" Tab as well as the other "Team" tab? I believe it requires both of them to be matched to the team you want to move the player to. I am unsure with inactive/retired players though, so that may be different.

It's weird. For NHL14 GM there is no BZIP2 CRC yet if I don't change anything in my tool (it hex the CRC anyway) it still works. I didn't even have to change any code for X360 GM, just PS3 for DATA files.

You sure about that? One example I see is Mason Raymond listed as teamid 29(canucks) but pro team 28(Leafs), and he is on the leafs in the game. But Connolly is listed as teamid60(Marlies I'm guessing?) but pro team 28(Leafs) even though he's currently in the free agent pool on my file.

Yep did that as well. No go. So far from my testing, doesn't look like you can move the players around unless there's another field some where that needed to be edited as well

Could someone try and focus only for the gameplay stuff. Try to find improvements for penalties, try to increase AI's poke check frequency and maybe more if it is even possible..

Don't know how much gameplay stuff really gets impacted by this tool. For penalties,I'm gonna try and lower every players discipline rating to the minimum amount and play a game and see if it produces any different result. It was something I was gonna try before,but it took too much time,but now with this tool,I can change everyones rating at once in a matter of seconds

Cleaned up code
Added PS3/X360 selection
Added Be A GM


For PS3 Be A GM:
Select the folder where DATA files are. SYS-DATA will be created - select it in new window to extract. When patching use SYS-DATA file that was created in extraction process to patch.

I give up...I can get NCAA and Madden editable easily and fine but I just can't decrypt the NHL file in bruteforce. I've ran it as administrator, I've tried other tricks and I can never get the option to decrypt it. Even followed the detailed guide on page 18.

DPyro- Great tool I have verified functionality for NHL13 on PS3. I made changes and reloaded into the game, and all changes made in the editor where in affect in the game. The game had no problems recognizing or loading the file.

Is anybody else having issues loading a Be a GM file to edit at all? I can load rosters without a hitch, but whenever I try to load a Be a GM file in the EA DB Editor, I keep getting a "Unhandled exception has occurred in your aaplication." error.

After decrypting it, I select NHL 14, PS3, Be a GM in v1.10 of the packer tool and navigate to the folder where I have the file stored. Then the SYS-DATA file is created, I name a *.db file and try to load it in the EA DB editor.

I will say that when creating the *.db file, there appears to be a message in the DOS window at the end, but it disappears too quickly to read. Therefore, I do not know if it is telling me there is an error or that it worked fine.
