It's pretty amazing that the NHL talks about integrity when they've had Colin Campbell on the payroll for the last 15 years. He should've been fired into the Sun a long, long time ago.

Sadly, the day when Bettman hangs it up, Campbell will probably be promoted to deputy commissioner.Comment

What a weird sequence.
Puck in the air, hits goalies head and goes in, nobody except the Leafs realize it.
Refs then call the goal.
Refs get together and call back the goal because Leafs player cross checked the puck in.
Leafs challenge and refs say it's a goal because the puck never made contact with the Leafs player.
Oilers then score the next 3 goals to take a 3-1 lead.
Leafs then get 3 goals, the 3rd of which in OT and win 4-3.
Cant believe we only have 1 more Leafs vs Oilers meeting. A chance at Matthews vs McDavid in the playoffs? SN would be loving that.Last edited by Majingir; 03-27-2021, 08:56 PM.Comment

NHL announced more changes to their schedule.
As it stands, looks like season has been extended half a week so far.
HNIC on the Canadian side was set to close things out, but instead Monday night will be their new regular season finale date.Comment

Thursday was the first time the Wild played the Blues this season. Almost a third of Minnesota’s remaining games are against them.Comment

So nobody knows what's going on with Amdersen or if/when he'll return or be healthy, and Campbell is good to play but not healthy.
And Hutchinson isn't the best 3rd string goalie.
Despite that, Leafs dont seem to feel the need to find another goalie and people want them going after Hall for some reason....
Gotta love game management

Sabres up 3-0 over Flyers after 2! That's it! The streak is o......Flyers win 4-3 in OT.
18 game losing streak, and Devils are only team Buffalo has beaten in 2 months!
Dont tell me Sabres get another top pick. They're gonna be the new Oilers.Comment

Pretty bad hit from McDavid but I feel like other players hit him worse than this and the refs/league doesn’t protect him at all.
I don’t want the league to go all NBA/NFL QB on them but I wish superstars in the NHL get some protection.Comment

Re: The Official 2020-2021 Season Talk Thread
So Leafs get 3 PPs to start the game (2 were automatic penalties, with a failed challenge and puck over glass).
Refs call the next 3 penalties all on the Leafs.
Game management.
Also, Flames vs Canucks postponed (Canucks player tested positive). Sounds like Canucks could be without games for the next little while. Habs rescheduling already extended the season by a few days, possibly same with Canucks too?Last edited by Majingir; 03-31-2021, 08:20 PM.Comment

Re: The Official 2020-2021 Season Talk Thread
Do division winners get ranked 1-4 regardless of how many points 2nd place in another division might have? Or does a reseeding happen in the final 4 so it doesn't matter if you're a division winner or not.
Avs,Knights,Lightning seem to be the top 3 teams in the league right now, but only 2 of those will make the final 4.
And the Sabres streak is over!Comment

The latter. Reseeded by points, regardless of where you finished in your division.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that.
