I plan to test it on a hybrid probably my 2 iron (play that over a 5-wood) and see how it feels. Can't do anything in this awful weather though.

lmao I live in Michigan.
There's some great courses but... this winter hasn't been very friendly...

Speaking of that, Augusta is gunna look like poo this year with all the snow they've gotten

Quick question for our lower handicap guys. At my iron fitting I was told I needed heavier shafts True Temper S300. It got me thinking about my graphite shafts. My R1 is at 55 grams and my RBZ Stage 2 is at 60 grams. I think I should go heavier on those two. What do you guys think. Is my reasoning off here?

I would ask at GolfWRX, but I can't post there and their forums have been running slow for me the last few days.

Those aren't bad for weight for driver shafts, going too light in your woods wil cause control problems, while too heavy will slow down your swing speed. I like mid 60's gram shafts in my driver and 75+ gram shafts in any fairway woods. In my irons I like shafts that are 130+ grams

So lately I've been getting annoyed with the lack of consistency in my swing. Some shots I'll hit it pure and others I'll hit fat or thin. It's been a bad habit that I've developed the last few months and I kind of determined it was due to me relying on have perfect timing with my swing.

I've been watching and doing the drills and such from this instructor on Youtube. Dave Marsh runs a channel called iGolfTV. I've watched his videos quite often before he disappeared off Youtube a year ago. Recently came back a few months ago, relocate to the US and has been breaking down the golf swing in parts. I've decided to dedicate myself for the next month to what he's been teaching and so far the results have been good. I've been doing his drills at home and when I hit the range I find myself hitting the balls much better and more importantly, I practice with a purpose. I'm always checking his fundamentals and making sure I'm swinging the club properly. I'll leave one of his videos below, if anyone here is getting into golf or wants to improve their game, I HIGHLY recommend watching each video he has put out the last few months starting with the one below:

Got the call that my irons are in! Was gonna go get them today, but I will be in the office so I can wait one more day. Sadly still a few weeks out from being able to go to the range so tomorrow will be bittersweet to say the least.

Man, I tell you guys what. I think grips are an underestimated part of the fitting process. These +1/32 grips are amazing. Got my clubs, the PGA Pro that did my fitting said, now that you have "your" clubs you wanna hit them? The shafts, grips, titlesit clubs. The results were very impressive. I will have to regauge all my iron yardages but everything felt so much better than hitting my G10s (some of that is technology). I can not wait for the spring weather to get here.

Also, I know I did a great ball test of 2013 and the Bridgestone e6 won. But this guy Steve, gave me a box of the TM Project (a) and said he thinks I will like the Urethane covers on these a bit better. So it looks like it will be the e6 vs Project (a) this spring. This guy has been really good to me. This might be my best year of golf. Now I just need to get back to the gym lose these last 10 lbs and keep strengthening my core.

My game golf came in today. Pretty sweet set up. Here is a screen shot of the setting up each of the tags. Now all I really need to do is get this snow all melted and a nice enough day to take it out!

Shaft length I was in the middle of standard or -.25 so I stuck with standard as I've always played standard.

Being anal I still haven't decided on a grip but have time to decide. I'm a standard so no undersized or oversize needed.
I'm boring as it seems lol

Main thing was the lie angle which had to be adjusted 1 degree flat.
Ball felt really nice coming off the face and even slight miss hits while not as "Quiet feeling" still jumped.

Now they just need to come in and the weather needs to get better!

Did anyone watch the championship of the match play today?!? Jason Day vs Victor Dubuisson. Anyway Dubuisson made two UNBELIEVABLE up and downs during extra holes from places you could never get up and down from if you had a bucket of 50 balls.

Are they tags or some electronic golf bag organizer.

It's a GPS shot tracking system. It can help you get accurate distances on your shots providing a graphical shot by shot review of your round.
