Built in and around an old sand quarry, Scotland Run Golf Club offers a distinctive blend of quarry and links-style holes.

12pm Tee time Sunday. Pretty tough course, especially for the 2nd round of the season. Stoked to say the least. Getting some rounds in prior to April 1st, got myself an appointment to get fitted for the 1st time.

Looking forward to the possibility of improving my game with proper shafts and setup. Will still be hitting my TaylorMade R9 TP's.

I had a total hip replacement of my right hip on January 7. I played 6 holes on March 1st. This was a little too early to play it seems as I was pretty sore for the next couple of days. However I did manage to par the last 2 holes and bogey the first 4. Not too bad for not being able to really take a rip at it. I'm not even close to 100% but I was glad I went out and played a few holes before all of this snow came. Looking forward to healing up totally and getting back out there in a few weeks.

Kinda goes to show if we just play like we have a sore hip - we might really put up some good numbers.

I want to join a new league this year. My neighbor ran one I was in for a few years, but last year, so many guys in it had retired that they moved it to daytime (it WAS a twilight league).

Its a bit frustrating to find one. I only got one course to even acknowledge they know anything about the leagues they host, and that guy was supposed to email me contact info and hasn't. I know there are multiple leagues run by Titleist employees at one course near me, but I think it is easier to join Skull and Bones than one of those.

There should be a website for like, classified ads for people looking to join and leagues looking to fill up with more members. (Don't try naming it swingerslooking tho, that's something else).

Wife got me this rack to organize my golf stuff for Valentines Day, just got my lazy but motivated enough to put it together.
I wasn't sure about it just looking at the box but once I got everything on it, it looks like it will be pretty handy.

Getting out tomorrow for the first time this year.

Got driver, 3 wood and hybrid for $99. Great deal considering they go for $45-$50. Its the "Par 3" package.

Played a round yesterday and finished with an 83, 44 on the front and 39 on the back (Would have been a 38 but I was pissed at a missed par and missed the 1 foot bogey by not even looking!)

My first hole on the back nine ended with a 45 yard chip in for birdie, talk about a way to start the back! LOL Longest chip in I have had by far.

I'm looking for a "new" wedge or two. I don't mean used but a year or two old model that has yet to be used. Prob going with a 54 and a 60 degree. I was wondering what you guys would recommend. I def like Cleveland's wedges. Have Cobra irons and driver. I feel like I need to get a new bag since I have slowly taken all the Callaway's out lol.
