Had a nice 75 yard hole out today. It was hole 11. Had about 80ish yards to a tucked back right flag after hitting a horrible 6 iron off the tee. I hit the 6 iron horribly fat, my divot started at least an inch or two before the ball... once I got to my all I decided to hit an easy 56 degree wedge in close. Hit the ball, solid contact and I posed watching that ball fly through the air. It landed right next to the pin, hopped once then disappeared.
I literally started freaking out and put my arms in the air and looked behind me at the group of three guys behind me as they starting yelling and cheering. Nothing beats holing out for birdie.
I also shot my best score at the course I played at. +5 67. Only a short par 62 course but it does have some challenging holes and the pins for the most part are always tucked away in corners and near hazards. I always play better on the back nine than on the front whenever I play. I'm a huge feel player and I don't really get comfortable with the course I'm playing until about half way through. Regardless of whether I've played the course before or not. The score card is below:
