Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
Well last round was an 88.
Front 40 and had the "This might be the day" thoughts... then came in at 48..
So close yet so far...Joshua:

Just got these bad boys in today. And finally figured out a shaft for my M6 driver last night, so I have that on the way. Plus I "accidentally" decided to order a new M6 hybrid too.
Been out 5 times this year. 93, 86, 79, 80, 84. Looking to hopefully get out a couple times next week. Then again, I kinda want to wait until my driver is in.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
After a tough couple months I decided to gut my bag again. A driving range owner who I’ve become pretty good friends over the past few years placed an order for the new Ping G410 irons for me. They came in today before release date and he let me pick them up this evening.
I hit a small bucket just to see how they performed and I can’t believe how easy these are to hit. Didn’t hurt that he sold them to me at his cost. He told me not to tell anyone because he could get in trouble with Ping.
Looking forward to a better 2019 on the course.

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
Really starting to love them even more now. G410’s are so damn forgiving and I’m really liking the slightly smaller club head. I really liked the 400’s as well.

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
Well..
It finally happened!
Broke 80 for the first time with 2 of my best buds with me.
Shot 41 front and a 37 back for a 78!
Needed a par on the par 5 18th for a 79.
Great drive.. A pure 5I and then an 8 iron to about 12 feet..
Drained the putt for a bird
We did a bit of celebrating in the club house after and about to go out to eat with wife.
What a relief to accomplish that finally.
Pretty excited!Joshua:

The OS Golfer's Thread!
Well I’ve finally made it to my yearly golf trip to Myrtle Beach. Playing with a group of 24 friends and family. No wives and kids allowed starting this Wednesday-Tuesday at The Legends Golf Resort.
I feel right now I’m playing the best golf of my life. Made numerous changes to my bag this year and I finally feel I have the best possible gear for me.
Shot a 82 last Sunday and on yesterday got a quick 9 in and shot 39. If I only had time to get 18 in I believe I would have shot in the 70’s.
My bag looks like this,
Ping G410 Driver
Ping G410 5W
Ping G410 22 degree Hybrid
Ping G410 Irons 4-UW
56 & 60 Cleveland RTX-4 Wedges
TaylorMade Spider X Putter
Srixon Z-star ball

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
Played 18 for the first time ever over the weekend. Shot a cool 59 ... 59 on the front and another 59 on the back. At least I'm consistent.
I think I've got the driver figured out. My dad wasn't too happy that I was consistently out driving him, and I was hitting them pretty straight. But I have a lot of work to do on everything after the tee shot.
I still need to get a 3W and 5W. Where are some good places to look online? I've found a few on eBay so far. I have a RBZ driver, so looking to get the same for the woods. Not going to invest in new clubs until I get more serious.Comment
