Rolled my ankle pretty good this past week, tripped over a stupid groundhog hole. I was playing really good golf(for me,) but now I gotta take it easy.

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
It's so hit or miss with me. Someways I feel like I can't hit a bad shot 50 yards and in, and some days I blade it across the green a few times. My plan is to just relax until league night so I can be confident that my body is 100%My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

I'm playing my first round since knee surgery back in January. Hoping to not have too much pain and maybe break 100.Comment

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
Health issues have prevented me from playing as much as I would like this year but I’m hoping those are passed and I can get out and play regularly starting in August.
Sent from my iPhone using Operation SportsI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
Does anyone else ever notice that they cycle through swing thoughts/habits? I'm noticing that as I've been on the endless journey toward swing improvement, I'm circling back to things I used to try to do that somehow along the way got abandoned, and now I'm trying to do again (e.g. bigger shoulder turn, releasing the club through impact, turning through, etc). I wonder why I stopped doing them in the first place and why my swing drifted away.
I feel like it's a hamster wheel and I can never get off. But I suppose that's why I keep coming back....Comment

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
I went to a demo day at a local driving range and hit a bunch of irons, as I'm semi-in-the-market for a new set. The clear winner in feel and results (obviously according to me) was the new Callaway Epic forged irons. The faces on those seemed seriously hot and the ball was absolutely flying off the face. I wasn't ready to pull the trigger then and there, but....I came close. I'll still have to give some other sets a shot before I decide, but I'm actually surprised how far iron technology has come since my trusty Titleist 704's that I have yet to part with.Comment

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
I played a round a couple weeks ago after not playing since I got back from St Andrews back in late August. Played okay but there was definitely some rust haha.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo
