Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
I got it at Dick's so I would hope its real. Either way it bugs me. Taking it back to exchange. Really loved the feel.Joshua:

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
Has anyone tried the new Odyssey Versa putters? Especially the #7. Golf equipment is always pushing the new model as a better feel, touch, distance, etc. I was amazed at the difference between the 2012 #7 and the 2013 #7 Versa. Anyone else try it out and notice it. I just want to make sure I'm not nuts.Comment

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
OK went back and of course they didn't have the Tomcat. So I grabbed a couple balls and went back to work. The closest to the feel with same head design was the PING D66. After about 20 minutes or so I was comfortable with it. It was a little longer but that didn't bother me.Joshua:

Had a decent round today shooting a 83 and winning 2 Skins:thumbup: I must have left at least 3 Birdies out there but overall I'm really happy about this score this early in the year.
My short game was on point and off the tee my driving was one of my best efforts ever. On almost every par 4 I was driver then 8-pw into the green.

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
I hit it pretty well yesterday, especially for not swinging a club for over a month. We played 12 holes (had to cut it short because our boston butt was almost done, haha). I didn't putt well, but only missed 1 fairway all day. I think I had 5 pars and 7 bogeys. That was decent considering I missed 4 putts that I usually make (left 3 of them just short, right on the lip). All in all, a pretty good day for early March. Can't wait to be teeing it up 5 times a week.PSN: Koolie_G

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
Played my first round of golf today on a little 9 hole course. Par was only 27, shot 35 lol. A lot of 4's on my card. Too many two or three putts for my liking. Putting is definitely off right now. Everything else was really good, just the dang putting.... weather is about to turn ugly again for the next little while so I'll have to wait a few weeks before I can hit our full 18 hole par 72 course.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

It's been really warm lately in my area of South Carolina (60s and low 70s), but of course, I've had to work each of the last 5 days. Even worse - I work at a golf course, so I get all the pleasures of being at the course in the warm weather, with none of the thrill of actually getting to enjoy the weather by playing. Oh well. Off tomorrow and Friday, then Saturday afternoon, so hoping to get out.
I played once on a decent day in January (around 45 most of the day), and shot a 93, my highest score in about a year and a half, but that was the first time I'd played since October, so I'm ready to get back out and play regularly again.
I worked several days throughout January and February, and I'm surprised how busy we stay when it's between 35 and 45 degrees. A lot of guys come down from the north east and Canada, and they tell me they are just glad to see green on a golf course.
