Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III
The editor in Trials HD looks amazing. This is something the PC versions don't even have, and you can share your levels with others. This and Shadow Complex are what I've been waiting for.

Microsoft Details Summer Update, Lists Games on Demand
Microsoft has sent out a press release on the upcoming summer update. For the most part, it outlines many of the features we already knew about, including more movie choices, branded Avatar clothing, and teasing plans for the future like the Facebook integration. One juicy bit of information, though, is a new list of planned titles for the Games on Demand service. Though the roster is made up mostly of older titles, some of them are big names that might be worth picking up if you missed them. This doesn't account for the full "more than 30" games promised with the launch of the service, so at least a few more should be available on launch day. Check below for the full list:
- Assassin's Creed (Ubisoft)
- Burnout Paradise (EA)
- Call of Duty® 2 (Activision)
- Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- Fight Night Round 3 (EA)
- Kameo: Elements of Power (Microsoft Game Studios)
- LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (LucasArts)
- Mass Effect (Microsoft Game Studios)
- Meet The Robinsons (Disney)
- MX vs. ATV Untamed (THQ)
- Need for Speed Carbon (EA)
- Need for Speed: Most Wanted (EA)
- Perfect Dark Zero (Microsoft Game Studios)
- Prey (2K Games)
- Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis (Rockstar Games)
- Sega Rally (Sega)
- TEST DRIVE: UNLIMITED (Atari)
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas
- Tomb Raider Legend (Eidos)
- Viva Pinata (Microsoft Game Studios)
- Viva Pinata 2: Trouble in Paradise (Microsoft Game Studios)

That game is impossible to find in good condition.Comment

Test Drive Unlimited was awesome, hopefully more people try it out if the price is right. I'm still curious as to the pricing on these too. They charged $15 for xbox games, so I'll be shocked if it's near that or comparable to used game prices.Comment

Kotaku
Dust: An Elysian Tail, an entry in Microsoft's XNA Dream Build Play competition, is not only the best looking video game we've seen from the contest, it might be the best looking downloadable Xbox 360 title ever.
In fact, I'm having a hard time believing it's playable. But considering Dust: An Elysian Tail appears to be based on the animated film Elysian Tail, likely giving the developers access to top notch animation, I'm willing to suspend disbelief.
Watch this gorgeous teaser. Don't let the XNA thing frighten you.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Yeah man, Test Drive is great. I let it go a while back but recently picked it back up and got a few of my buddies to do the same. I can't wait to see what they do with the next one.Comment

Per joystiq.com, the prices on the 360 d/l titles will range between $20-30. Used many of these can be found for less than $10.Comment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III
Good luck to them as this will also fail if the prices are in the $20-$30 range when you can walk into the store and get some of these for under $15 especially in this economic climate.Comment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III
I looked on the dashboard this morning and saw them selling Bioshock for $29.99. Yeah, doesn't look like they're going to price this things too well.Comment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III
Considering that you can get the disc version of this game now for less than or around $20 at some places. I could be wrong, but I don't see this working as well for videogames like it did for music imo........considering how much cheaper you can buy an entire album on iTunes vs. buying the CD from the store.Comment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III
@ the Canadian prices. $40 for Bioshock and Oblivion by themselves when they're both in the $18.93 bin at Wal-mart and the double pack is $40. No idea what they're thinking. If they sell a single download of either of those in Canada I'm moving.
Then again anyone that'd be dumb enough to buy them for double the price/half the games probably shouldn't have a credit card to be able to in the first place.

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III
Oh well, I guess MS greed drops that ball. Hopefully they realize that most of those games are way cheaper than that. I guess new releases price will never go down. Bad enough you can't trade/sell the game, now you're overpaying for them also.Boy this habit is as bad as dope!!!

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade discussion Part III
Why do people assume it's all on Microsoft? Those titles aren't all first party, I'm sure the publishers have a big part in the price.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
