Does anyone know where I can get an extra AC cord? I'd like to be able to move my PS3 around but the way my entertainment cabinet is set up it would be easier to leave the power cord behind and just move the console.

For easier searching, PS3 fatty takes a C13 power cable and the slim takes a C7 unpolarized power cable.Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Didn't know where to post this:
I've had Netflix for over a month now- streaming through my PS3 (no disks).
For the first month, it ran smooth. Clear picture, everything.
For the past week, I've had TERRIBLE lag. It hangs up basically every scene, almost every single minute.
Anyone else ever experience this and if so, is there anything to alleviate this??
HELP!!Comment

After that, things were fine. How is your Internet connection? Do you notice lag playing games online or surfing the web?
If it continues, I'd try and contact Netflix and see what they suggest.Currently Playing:

I only had this happen once during an episode of Weeds. Netflix contacted me via e-mail the next day and asked if I experienced any issues, to which I replied "yes". I think they gave me a credit on my account the following month.

I think I have to contact Netflix like you did.Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Hey guys I have a problem. I play on an ASUS full 1080p monitor hooked up via hdmi. For some reason, I've just noticed this, is that my ps3 graphics look as shiny and crisp as they once were. Actually, it looks horrible. I tried ticking off 1080p, the graphics looked the same. I tried ticking off 720p, and they looked the same. So basically, I think games are getting downscaled to 480p since with just 480p selected, the games looked the same in terms of graphic quality as did when all of the resolutions were checked. Which doesn't make any sense. I remember playing games that looked amazing on my ps3. I have been a pc gamer as of late, so have my eyes just realized how bad ps3 technology is? Or was there an update on psn that made the game look crappy on monitors? Thanks.Comment

also try just having the 720 option checked. some games dont play on 1080p and it will revert to 480 if that is the case. all games play on 720"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
yea but will they take psn cards

Yeah well on the XMB, the ps3 is nice and crisp. But when I started the killzone 3 beta, it looked awful no matter what settings I put it on... It's frustrating.Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
once i put the KZ3 BETA on 720, it showed fine. i usually keep my display settings only on 1080p and just switch it myself when i know the game i am going to play doesnt support it.
