Re: Xbox One
I should've known there would be a topic on this. Microsoft is gonna have to come out swinging with a lot of games in order for me to be impressed with this new Xbox. The moves with 360 to move it towards a more general entertainment platform has come at the cost of games that set Xbox apart. Xbox is no longer a gaming console so I'm cautious about getting my hopes up that there's change coming.Comment

Going back to achievements, the only game in which I have unlocked every achievement is the walking dead episodic. There are a few other games I am close in ... Mass Effect 3, Far Cry 3, Lego Batman 1/2, Spec Ops, and maybe a few others.
I have never bought a game because it was a quick 1,000 gamer points, and I have bought many games (mostly sports games) which have been so horrible that attempting to unlock every achievement would be a punishment LOL.
Last I will say about achievements is that for the games which I have enjoyed and played through the main story on, the achievements left over are a nice addition because it gives me even more reason to play those games again.
I think if you make your goal of playing a game to unlock achievements then you're going about it the wrong way, but that is just my opinion.

Re: Xbox One
The only games I set out to try and get everything done in are games I enjoy playing that even after I've beat the game I want to continue with it a little more.
I still don't finish most of those but its a way to extend gameplay a bit, Saints Row 3 is a game I did that with, I beat the game and all the side missions and spent hours messing around with achievements still.
Most game I'll beat and be done with though.Favorite Teams:
NCAA- University of Illinois Fighting Illini
NFL- Cleveland Browns
MLB- St. Louis Cardinals
NBA- Boston Celtics
NHL- Chicago Blackhawks

Have there been rumors of a Bioware RPG being exclusive to MS as a launch title?
That, my friends, would do wonders....GT: Event Horizon 0Comment

Re: Xbox One
I enjoyed the ME series, but after ME3, anything out of Bioware is a big "wait and see" for me. They're supposedly going to tease Dragon Age 3 at E3.Comment

Re: Xbox One
"Games that set Xbox apart". I couldn't care less about games that release on Nintendo and PlayStation systems as well. Microsoft doesn't utilize their first party studios enough for games that appeal to someone like me. Fable, Forza, Gears, Halo, and Alan Wake. And even with those only Gears and Alan Wake are experiences that noticeably set themselves apart. With Xbox there isn't much, if any, gaming experiences that I can't find somewhere else. The 360 started out good and dwindled down in a few years.Comment

Re: Xbox One
It was a really big blow for them to lose Mass Effect. I used to kill my friend's entire arguments by just saying they couldn't play Mass Effect. That was the only exclusive that really mattered to me.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: Xbox One
You might think you killed their arguments with your opinion, but some people don't give a **** about Mass Effect. I could say the same thing about any of the Playstation Exclusives. Just because I liked it, didn't mean they would.
I have an Xbox and have absolutely no interest in the Mass Effect Series.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

Re: Xbox One
Remember when PS2 owned Guitar Hero and GTA? Imagine if those two games were still Sony exclusives (Rock Band included).
Obviously the music genre has now faded, but it was a massive component of this current generation's consoles for a long time. I think there are definitely exclusives that I couldn't be without on Sony's side, and these would have tipped the world over if they remained there.
What are the Microsoft exclusives now that have people leaning toward X1 outside of Halo/Forza? I'm just trying to list them is all.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Xbox One
The only real XBox exclusives worth mentioning are Forza, Halo and Gears of War.
Tales of Vesperia (though in JP it is on PS3), Ninja Gaiden and Dead Rising are also fairly solid but I can't see anyone getting excited about those games like the big 360 exclusives.badComment
