I do too, in fact PS3 had mlb.tv one season earlier, but it works a lot better on Xbox, on my PS3 it would freeze/buffer really often. I don't know if it's just my system (the fat 60GB), but I've never had a good online connection with my PS3, even using an ethernet cord instead of wi-fi. Hopefully, both consoles next generation have a good online experience.

Re: Xbox One
As someone mentioned earlier, PS+ is currently an additional service and a damn good one at that. With the exception of party chat in game and the PSN temporary shut down, I didn't and still don't have any issues with PSN. Its solid and free.
I won't keep my Xbox in the future. I'll only want to use it for Netflix/Hulu+ and I don't like the thought of having to pay for a subscription to something in order to watch something I'm all ready paying for. I never have understood that.
Live has never offered me anything that justifies the price it comes in at. I still pay for it, though.Comment

Re: Xbox One
IMO downloading a game or demo at 1/3 the time it took PSN was well worth the $ I paid for LIVE. (Which was never more than 30-35 a year)
And the gameplay online was nearly always smooth.
Something PSN better have with the PS4 as I'm counting on it.
I may not keep my XBOX1 pre-order but know I'm keeping the PS4 so I hope they've improved their speeds.Joshua:

That was always a no brainer for me. I wasn't going to continue to pay for a name.--

That said it was a little slower when I had both XBL and PSN, but I think they've made stretches to fix it. It's still not as fast as XBL but it's closeLast edited by ChubbyBanana; 06-14-2013, 03:48 PM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Dont know how I didnt think about the obvious, but if theres any place you could preorder the xbox one still to get it guaranteed day one it would be the microsoft store. They wouldnt short change themselves I hope lol. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I'd be willing to bet demand will be high. Yea everyones cursing M$ now but when the thing launches people will be doing anything to get one. Even if you made say a $100-$200 profit on it thats a come up. The release is so long away though, 5 months, plenty of time to observe the market. Microsoft store doesnt charge until it ships, no money out of pocket just to hold one over just in case. ALso who knows maybe they change some of their policies and this thing becomes gold. So much can happen between now and November. Just know anybody who didnt pre order will probably be paying more than retail in November unless they get really lucky. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment

I guess the only thing I'd need to do is remember that I preordered it cause like you said, 5 months is a long way away. LollllComment

I do think it's comical to just say "except for temporary shutdown it's been great"...That shutdown was 24 days that people couldn't play games online.
I've had issues with download speeds in the past for PS3 updates and game downloads, but have brushed them off because I wasn't paying for them.
PSN better step it up big time if they're charging now, because now it really is "you get what you pay for"...we're paying, so provide a better service IMO.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Xbox One
Will they release the games before launch day?
I really hope so, the last thing I want is for my XO so show up in the mail without the games or if you're not ordering online, its going to be a even longer wait in line if they have to give out the games along with the consoles at the stores. Releasing the games first would make things a lot simpler I think.Comment

Re: Xbox One

We contacted Microsoft for a statement about Mattrick's punchline and its implications. In specific, we wanted to know if there was any consideration at all for troops serving in austere conditions.
This was the response we received from Microsoft:
With Xbox One you can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection. Although we’re very excited about Xbox One, we remain dedicated to Xbox 360 now and for years to come. In fact, we are expecting some of the greatest blockbusters of 2013 and 2014 to come out on Xbox 360 such as ‘Grand Theft Auto V,’ ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts,’ ‘Madden NFL 25’ and ‘FIFA 14.’”For troops that can't go online, Microsoft would rather them buy an Xbox 360 than the newest next gen Xbox One. Troops not amused.
