You can't have a thread discussing a new console without discussing the other one that's coming out simultaneously. Most people are still trying to decide on which systems. There are going to be comparisons. A lot of them. It's unrealistic to expect otherwise.

In no way do I disagree with you. I'm referring to the folks who continuously criticize the X1 no matter what, and praise the PS4 as if they are on Sony's payroll.

And to the PS4 article stating it's 50% more powerful, I'm certain that I can find a pro Microsoft article indicating that the X1 is more powerful. They are both going to be awesome.

Because then every store that today sell games would sell digital copies of the games ( you would have bought the game on disc, installed it and the you could throw the disc if you wanted.) Now stores will sell discbased games and Xbox live markerplace the digital version.

So, instead of buying my games in digital format for say 40 dollars I now have to buy them for 60 dollars. Next gen became a lot more expensive when MS dropped there steam-concept and went back to last gen distribution model. To bad for us who have internet.

I dont want loads of discs Lyons aroud. I have to much crap as it is.

Again, discounts on digital sales (as far as release day sales) were never confirmed nor were they ever assumable. Microsoft did not take Steam like sales away from you.

The main reason I am stiff iffy on whether the X1 will be a release day buy is the kinect requirement. If it wasn't for that I'd have it and the PS4 on their release days.
Get rid of that and lower the price and they have my money for sure on release day.

We'll see. I'm weak though.

My issue as well. Get your spy device out of my home.

If Sony had the identical policy with it being required, I would be done this next round of consoles, and would stick to PC only.

The problem is all the drive by posts from people who have zero intentions of buying the system they are "posting" about and just want to keep throwing little pot shots about the system.

Seriously, it's the same 3 or so guys over and over. It does get a bit annoying, they're constantly there to "like" each other's posts hehe.

Same for the three guys who like every pro-XB1 post no matter what is said. We just have to deal with them until release or until they do something that breaks the TOS.

Not sure why people who post positively about the X1, in an X1 thread, have to be 'dealt' with. Unless you fall into the category that is being referred to. No TOS violations happening here. I'm here for the long haul!

A discussion thread does not require you to purchase the product to be apart of it.

Go to the ps4 thread, it is the same thing. I have yet to see a post by the people you are referring to that just bashes the console.

Hopfuly the golf, tennis and boxing take full advantage of the kinect sensor. Man if they can accuratly reproduce the power of swings and punches in a 1 to 1 fashion that would be awsome!!!!

It's no different than going into the Madden forum/thread saying how wonderful NFL2K5 is while pointing out all the Madden flaws. People get banned for that. The majority of people here are pro PS4 (nothing wrong with that either) so I imagine that's why it's not policed the same way.

Also hope single-player games are much longer now that both systems are equiped with bluy-ray drives.
