Well I could not resist and sold my forza xb1 and got halo bundle...This thing is a beauty but instantly regret the controller exchange as the forza with the grips feel better then the halo one...But the console is beautiful and I got the Halo game with extra dlc...

Lol, I'm still rolling strong with my Day One console.

Only time I've ever replaced a console is when they've gone bad. Had to get rid of my first 360 because the disc drive was going bad (twice, once after sending it into MS to be fixed) and ended up getting a 360 Elite, when that one started to bite the dust, replaced it with a 360 Slim. And had to replace my early edition fat PS2 when it eventually died for good and replaced it with a PS2 Slim. Those are the only times I've replaced a console for any reason.

I haven't seen one I would rather have over the straight black console. Just matches every thing else in my setup perfectly.

Same here, I've just never really been a fan of the themed consoles. They are nice and all plus the white consoles look great but I usually just stick with all black.

After the latest update my Xbox won't turn off via the controller. It won't even give me the option. I hold down the controller menu button fee it vibrate but that's it. I even went into the options on the console and hit turn off console and nothing. I had to manually get up and turn it off. I'm not too optimistic about this New UI update being ready for November.

Fixes:

• My Games & Apps: You should no longer encounter any tiles that are blank in your collection.
• Apps Crashing Fixes: Various Apps no longer crash on startup or during usage.
• Formatting Hard Drives: You should no longer run into issues when formatting external hard drives.
• Edge Browser: You should no longer encounter a black screen when browsing in Edge.

There are multiple threads (spanning the last couple weeks) about hard drives not being detected under NXOE and even people plugging in Disney Infinity Portals and them not working. Wonder if this type of input/output bug/error is related to Kinects no longer working too.

I'm downloading and installing the update right now. I'll know in a couple minutes if the external drive formatting issues are finally fixed.

I hope that's the case. My kinect got weird when I updated to the NXOE.

Anyone had any issues with Upload Studio? I have sent the error report with the video a few times already. Sometimes when I add a transition and click on it to select which type the box that goes around the options to select is actually inbetween two options.

It is sort of selecting half of one and half of another. Once that happens then I can't get back to my video or out of that screen. Seems to happen with I click to quickly and it gets confused.

Otherwise, I've been lucky and have had very little in terms of issues with the NXOE. Still waiting on that snap volume slider option without going to settings.

Best Buy has Kinect on sale for $99. W/ reward zone certs burning a hole in my pocket might end up snagging that and the replacement plan.

45 day return policy as an Elite Plus member should give us time to see if it's the NXOE causing it or not and take advantage of a free repair + return I'd hope.

This update is still glitchy. I can't even play my NBA 2k16, recorded clips still don't work and tiles are still empty...
