Picked up the 500GB Halo bundle. I took it out of the box but didn't unwrap since it won't be played until ReCore gets released on September 13th. Definitely looks sweet and love not seeing the big bulky horrible power brick. Very happy. Now, it's just a waiting game.

Lol...we are on the same page. I'm wondering if it is upscaled to 4k.

Hard to tell a difference, I moved to a much nicer TV, better colors.

            I wish I wasn't such a compulsive spender.....

So hard for me not to buy that S madden bundle right now....gotta maintain self-control....

If NEO ends up being released next year and not in the next couple months like I expect/hope then I will definitely have to hop on that M17 bundle

This is what I have been saying for quite some time, I know some guys will argue with me, but with 4k your going to get better colors and and clarity.

I dont think this entire 4K movement i going to be ad huge as people think. I have my slim and it still looks great.

I still think the hole 4k is hype man. That's my opinion, nobody has to agree.

                4k isn't hype, this just isn't 4k content.

                  4K hype? How so?

                  was 480p to 720p hype?

He cant see a big difference because it is upscale and not native

If the slim was a 4K native gaming console he would see a huge difference in xbox one games that have a lot in sub fhd

When consoles start making games in 4K native resolution the difference will be night and day from xb1 vanilla doing 720p or 900p games upscale to 1080p tv or 4K tv

I get it, but I still don't think its going to be what others think it will be. Just like I think the whole VR stuff will die an early death too.

VR has carved out a nice niche already, probably more entrenched than 3D ever was. It won't be going away (only improved), mainstream gaming longevity remains to be seen.

It has definitely quieted down after the Vive and Oculus have released.

I know Sony has theirs coming soon, but to some extent I think it's too expensive and more a novelty right now.

It'll probably pick up more over time, but I barely hear much about VR whereas before it was all over the news.

I know its new and gamers now its new tech, but there are a lot of old school gamers that like old style of playing, put a controller in their hand and a TV in front of and game on. That will never die.

Like I said Don't see the VR really taking off or surviving. Like my Old school self, I could careless about, but we are all different.

I would say there's more "new school" gamers than "old school" gamers right now. I think the market is huge for VR. I also think 4K is just gonna be the "new normal" in the not too distant future.

I still personally think VR will be the next 3D, but I 100% agree about 4K.
