Yeah, I would have preferred the game to be delayed instead to 2021 with the next gen upgrade being day one but waiting for me isn't a big deal. I have those four games to play, 12 backlogged games as well as Outriders and Far Cry 6 in February. I can understand those who want to play the game day one though because if I didn't have those other games, I would feel the same way.

That means I’m waiting until next year to buy the game.

The packaging for this is really nice, maybe its just me, but it seems weird that Microsoft is the only one of the 3 major console manufacturer's that still requires batteries for their controllers. I'd have figured by now they'd have made a rechargeable controller stock with the console.

I have an Xbox One X that I want to trade in toward a Series X, has anyone done that?
What is the process like?
Are any stores giving you a premium on these types of trades?Comment

I can't remember the parent company as I think it changed but Eneloop rechargeable batteries are the way to go. Get a 4pack with charger and you're set. professional camera and audio people use them on shoots because they are dependable and last much longer than other batteries. They are usually white w/ white charger unless they changed that too - not expensive either. When my batts run out I swap the AA's from charger to controller and each time I do that I think is usually over a week or 2. Had the same kit for 6-7 years, along with the other one I have for work.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

I rather the AA batteries. My PS4 controllers die after a few hours (3-4hours) of gaming while the Xbox controllers lasts over a week on a single charge.

Anyway I have a ps4 and charge in Rest Mode after every 2nd play session or more. The Eneloop bats last WAAAY longer than that. They probably use more power too on the xbox with vibrate and the games I play vs the dual shock which I only really play Dreams.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

That's what I do, They are made by panasonic which I why I couldn't remember lol, used to be Sanyo.

Not only that but the the Xbox controller has a lot more power for headphones. I can easily lower some of my wired headphones and they go loud on the Xbox. The same headphones on the PS4 controller barely reach half the loudness.

On your PS4 go into settings and set the light on the controller to DIM. This will solve your problem. Yesterday I gamed for 10 hours straight and my controller never lost power.Comment
