Good luck, I would have got it in writing.

Yeah, the remote can turn everything on with one button.

However, it's happening almost every single night. I doubt my cat is responsible for it.

No need to get it in writing, he will be there on friday and saturday. He actually told Me that if anyone gave me a hassle to just tell them id return it and rebuy it on sale, and they would see my point. He also said he plans on buying one himself now that he knows its going to be on sale. Again, since he will be there, I have no worries.

Do you know if you are having electrical spikes at all? That can turn on/off appliances...

Yeah, I doubt it...just throwing out ideas

Perhaps take the batteries out of the remote before bed one night, just to rule that out? I doubt it's the remote, but who knows if it's broken or something, stuck button, etc

Its going to be only $1299!
I would appreciate impressions when you get it hooked up.

I don't understand exactly what you were saying. It is a part of the Black Friday sale according to the Black Friday website. But you say it's not a part of the 6-hour sale. I'm confused.

The ad that comes out for black friday will have the TV in it. There are two different types of sales in that one ad. One type of sale is the "door buster" type ad that people line up at 4am for. That is the 6 hour sale. There is also a two day sale as part of the black friday ad, and the TV is a part of that sale. The manager told me that they cant match anything in the 6 hour sale, but they can for the items in the two day sale.

I got the TV hooked up a little while ago, and Im extremely impressed with it. The colors are vibrant, and its very bright (which is expected with an LCD). There is no lag or ghosting when playing games. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for something in that size range, especially at the black friday price.

I have the Avia Guide to Home Theatre, HDTV calibration DVD and Im going to get everything setup tomorrow, Ill post more impressions after calibration.

                    Nice.
I think I may go to CC tomorrow just to see it in person. But I think I'm sold already at that price.

I`m looking to get another Vizio for the bedroom, either a 32" or 37". I love the one down in the living room. Vizio really is a good TV especially for the price.

Wait... so are you saying that I need an antenna with an ATSC tuner, or ONLY with NTSC?

And if it's the latter, if I get a TV with an ATSC tuner, do I just use the coaxial cable? I don't need to use an HDMI cable at all? And are the channels just like... 102, 103, 104? I don't understand how it would pick them up, really.

Oh, and now I'm looking at the Samsung LN-T2353H LCD HDTV for no more than $600. I'm looking for 23" only. Am I making the wise choice?

The entire Samsung line of hdtvs is awesome. You can't go wrong selecting a Samsung of any size. I love their 40 inch lcd and salivate for their 46 inch model (neither of which I own). I do have an older 32 inch hdtv in my basement and looks and perfomrs great.
