I'm leaning towards it. CC is now selling it for 1849.99 so its dropped $50 since yesterday.
How much lower is the price going to go?

What type of tv stand do you have yours sitting on? Do you have surround sound?

      OR

Element 32" from CC $399 (The BF ad doesnt specify which)

I like the Olevia of those 2. $549 for a solid 37inch LCD is a great price.

Olevia and Vizio are 2 of the best "budget" tv makers.

I'm looking at getting the Sharp Aquos 46" LC46D46U on Black Friday.

        http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sharp...oductDetail.do

Should I be concerned that the television does not have a 120hz refresh rate? Is there a lot I'm missing if it doesn't have it? I mean, if I'm going to spend $1300 on this HDTV, so I pony up some more $$$ for the 120hz refresh rate? Thanks!

I swear I have a ghost in my house.

Everynight I turn off my TV before I go to bed, but when I come downstairs in the morning to leave for school, the TV is back on. The cable isn't on, so it's just a black screen with the little red light that represents my TV is on. How is this happening?

My parents have also told me that during the night the TV and the cable come on, usually waking them up. Is something wrong with my TV, like a reverse sleep timer? Or is there actually a ghost screwing around with me?

There wouldn't happen to be a wakeup scheduler on your TV? I have that on my TV in my bedroom and use it as my alarm.

              I don't believe so.

I upgraded from a regular HD cable box, to an HD-DVR about three weeks ago. I only started to notice the problem around then. Do you think that could be connected to the problem?

Hmmm... I doubt it. I have an HD-DVR box, but there's nothing on it such as a scheduler. Nor do I think it has the ability to turn your TV on.

The wakeup scheduler I was talking about is actually set on the TV. For both of my TV's, it's located in the same place the sleep timer is.

Do you have a remote that can power both on with the press of a single button? Maybe a pet accidently hitting that button? Sounds stupid, but it could happen

                          Hey,
Does anyone have a Sharp Aquos? How would you rate them?

I'm really debating on picking this up: 46" Sharp Aquos 1080p.

                          Please school me on this-

                          1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution
                          • NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuners
                          • Widescreen aspect (16:9)• 10,000:1 contrast ratio
                          • 3 HDMI inputs
                          • Aquos image processing

I actually just cancelled my DLP order, and Im gong to pick up that sharp TV in a few mins. Not sure when Ill get it hooked up, but Ill give impressions when I do. Word to the wise, that TV will be on sale friday and saturday at circuit city. Since its not part of the 6 hour sale, they will pricematch the TV if you buy it now (which is what Im doing today). Its going to be only $1299!

I already spoke to the store manager who said they cannot match anything that is part of the 6 hour sale, but they can match prices that are part of the two day sale(which includes this TV). I already covered my bases.
