Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
I'm getting the 32" Vizio and 42" Vizio. I'm gonna spend more time on the 32" I think because it will house the XBOX 360.
If Vizio's suck please speak now or forever hold your peace

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
I'm a big fan of mine...I did have to take it back to Costco and get a new one cause there was a weird glitch where the buttons and remote stopped working, but I had never heard of reports of that on Avs Forum, and nothing bad in the 2 weeks since I got the new one. I've got the 37" one, picture quality's great for me, and works great with the 360.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
Ok I have a question, my dad has a Sharp LC-26AD22U and DirecTV, for some reason the picture doesn't look like it's in high definition but my dad says he has everything hooked up right. Is there some kind of menu or something where you can change the screen settings and make the picture look better or does the picture depend on what channel you have it on?Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
Here is some advice for you guys. If you lamp goes out on your TV and you have a Best Buy PSP, just tell Best Buy to send you one and put it in yourself. I have had a terrible time with NORMAN ELECTRONICS, who does the repair work for Best Buy, replacing my lamp. They have continuously lied to me and keep putting it off "until next week." My lamp should be here from Best Buy on Friday or Monday. I'll let you guys know how the installation goes.NFL: Tennessee Titans

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
Vizio is a great company to take a risk on. They have a free 1 year IN HOME warranty and a zero bright pixel guarantee. My 47' 1080p Vizio had a few bright pixels and they came to my house and swapped my TV out for a brand new model. Very good customer service and support, by far the best in the industry.Comment

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
Turns out I'm getting 2 TV's for my new apartment.
One will be a 32" Vizio
For the living room what TV should I get?
42" Vizio
50" Vizio
47" Vizio Gallevia
Let me say that I'm not a big movie guy.
The 32" will be mainly for gaming, and for a guest.
That 32 inch is on sale this week at circuit city for about $550-$570
Thinking about getting one myself as I copped an elite over the weekend.Fav teams:

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
Just wanted to report that I've been lurking this thread for quite a while now and now that I'm moving into my new apartment I'm taking the HD plunge. Just ordered the Sony 50A2020 SXRD when it was on-sale for 1500 at Best Buy over the 4th.Comment

LCD vs Plasma
If you will be mainly watching TV or DVDs, get a Plasma.
If you are a gamer (360 or PC), definitely get an LCD. (I highly recommend a 1080p model and yes, there is a noticeable difference on games)
If you have even a somewhat bright room, get an LCD. (no glare)Comment
