Not surprising Azzarello is one of the best writers out. I didn't know he was handling WW duties. I'll have to look into it sometime soon.

      Wonder Woman

Yep, Wonder Woman, Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang are killing it on this title. Before I use to consider the supporting cast and villains of Wonder Woman to be the worst of any super hero book by a very large margin. Now they're among the best.

Many die hard, old school Wondy fans hate the new direction, but a lot of people like myself who were lukewarm about WW, now love the book and the character. Only Batman is a better DC title right now IMO.
All I can say is, the direction of the book these days is a million times better than the crap from J. Michael Straczynski.

Flash and Wonder Woman are two comics I'm gonna have to check out once the TPBs are released. I've been thinking of dropping my Dark Knight and Superman subs.

From what I've read the DC New 52 has been a huge success and one of the worst series has been Superman? How did the DC icon have such a slow start?

Also a whole whack of Batman is on sale on Comixology including Dark Knight Returns and Death in the Family.

I'm thinking about picking up Brubaker's Criminal series, is there a good place to purchase all volumes at a decent price? Sorry for the newbie question but I am a novice in the graphic arts.

I started with volume 1. While I really enjoyed volume 1, my dealer assured me that it was the 'worst' of the series. If that's the case, then the rest of the series must be completely amazing.

I got a couple of Grant Morrison titles from my brother: All-Star Superman and Arkham Asylum. He also gave me volume 1 of American Vampire (Scott Snyder). Should be a fun week with those.

Anyway, I was watching Batman Begins yesterday and I noticed how similar it was to Grant Morrison's tone. Its gritty and a little dark, but the elements themselves are still kind of campy and typical comic-booky. Just something I noticed after binging on Morrison.

Anybody been reading the new TMNT comic from IDW? Pretty engrossing and interesting stuff. The material is updated quite a bit but all the elements are essentially the same. Pretty good comic book IMO.

Anyone get ASW this week? I want to know if it's all Hex & Arkham again or there's another side story tacked on.

Haven't read it but yes the Hex/Arkham story continues.

My favourite so far of the New 52 is Batgirl really has been a fun read and the art is nicely done. I am a Superman fan and I too have been disappointed in the book so far. I'll stick with it as I am a Superman fan but if I wasn't I'd probably have dropped it by now. Action comics Superman is alot better and I was skeptical at first with the direction they were going with him with him wearing jeans, boots & a t-shirt glad it's worked out so far.

I know he is writing Batman and Swamp Thing (underrated IMO, but understandable why it isn't as popular), but is he still writing American Vampire? I'm hoping I can read volume 1 sometime this weekend.
