    Next issue isn't until January.

Did the villians month thing throw off releases? I can't help but feel missing something this week. All I got was Batman '66,JLD #22 (the old one I wasn't paying $4 for) and Velvet which is new and apparently fantastic but I haven't read it yet.

So the Deadpool "The Good, the bad, and the ugly" story arc has been very good.

This was a hell of a week for marvel books to me. Battle of the Atom was good and infinity was great. One thing that I think helped my impression of infinity is that I missed the ancillary issues last week so I had like 5 issues to read, making them all fit together that much more. Will probably pick up the hardcover of this once it is complete.

Probably the best Deadpool story arc in the last few years for sure.

The epilogues to The Battle of The Atom have my full attention. It looks like Wolvie is going to go all berserk on SHIELD and Kitty leaving Wolvie's school is HUGE. I can't believe she did what she did. It'll be interesting to see where things go from here.

I'm just a little upset with Marvel having to re-jig the X-Books again and now there's going to be a tie in with Guardians of the Galaxy on some big Trial of Jean Grey storyline. Needless to say i'll be reading it. I will say this, if they hadn't blown up the old status quo of the X-men which led to the Cyclops group vs Wolverine group status quo i'd never have gotten into the X-Books. Because they did that i'm now fully (well mostly, don't like Uncanny X-Factor) immersed in the X-Men's corner of the Marvel U.

A friend lent me a copy of Superman: Red Son. Never read it before, any good?

It's the best Superman Elseworlds book by a large margin.

I recently bought a copy of "The Vengeance of Bane" 1st printing. A very nice copy, want to get it graded, and really wanted to read the book too so opted to buy the book digital for only $1.99.

I must say, this is an amazing book! If you've never read it, I highly suggest it. It's also the first appearance of Bane and tells a great origin story.

Based on how Bane's origin is told, I've almost become a Bane sympathizer now...don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't read it so I'll just leave it at that.

I think it died because Goh has been banned. He at least would jump start it a bit.

Been reading the same ol' same ol' nothing is really jumping out at me as being overly impressive but i'm glad to see that

is being resurrected at Marvel. The LOONG ongoing Clayface stuff in BATMAN THE DARK KNIGHT was excellent reading.

I enjoyed the Krypton Returns mini event in the Super Books and didn't expect to see the conclusion that I saw
                        Spoiler

As for Marvel the X-Books are entertaining as ever and i'm enjoying the pieces falling into place in Superior Spider-Man. It's taken quite a long time for the grand plot to get moving but it looks like the crap is about to hit the fan.

The City Fall event in the TMNT book over at IDW was GREAT stuff. Leonardo will never be the same but the whole coming together of the criminal element and Shredder consolidating a power base was deftly done.

I think some smack talk that went over the line though honestly not sure.

BTW back on topic. I'm glad to see the Batgirl: Criminal/Fugitive storyline is starting back up again with this week's issue.

Comixology is giving away a free comic each day until the 20th. Got me right back into Batman today.
