    Re: Comic Book Fans....

After the first week I stopped paying too much to DC's villains month except the Bat Books. Looks like they're gonna have a couple other minis along with the main Forever Evil book as well.

As for Marvel, i'm avoiding the Infinity stuff (i'm not into the cosmic) but am enjoying the hell out of Battle of the Atom. Although the bickering between the 3 different eras of X-Men can get a bit tiresome. I'm liking the story so far and am intrigued to see what happens by the end of it.

      Doesn't seem intresting to me.

Not much to talk about recently but I guess I can say Saga and Fatale are awesome for the 212th time.

Anyone picking up Green Lantern #24 and reading the "Lights Out" arc? I've never picked up a Green Lantern book and figure I will now since I had expected to get some of the character from the Justice League but he up and left after the first arc.

I might be biased, but I think you all should definitely pick up the last two volumes of Magdalena and be on the lookout for IDW's 7th Sword in late 2013.

I hear the art is just amazing.

It's set in current continuity. At least that's my understanding.

Anyone reading Saga? A few years ago I was looking forward to it because I really enjoyed Brian Vaughan's Ex Machina, but I stopped getting comics because grad school and work. Looks pretty interesting. It's been described as a cross between Game of Thrones and Star Wars.

Saga is fantastic. The first volume is good, but the second one is fantastic. Definitely stick with it.

DC finally added collections/full graphic novels on comixology which means The Killing Joke is on there at last.

One of the best Batman stories ever even though Alan Moore has later talked it down and express regret at some of the things he's done in it.

Those panels of joker with a crowbar really stayed with me as a kid. Loved it though, very impactful, no pun intended.

Comixology sent out a thing a while ago where if you took a survey you'd get a free comic. It's The Bunker #1 which I already have so I'll just leave the code here for someone to use...

So to further complain (well I had no complaints about it really but now I do) about Forever Evil:

DC's Injustice has been a great game, but an even more awesome book. Its broken down so many barriers that frustrate me in comics...meaning the slow agonizing wait for change.

Why in the most recent issue Superman outs it unto the entire world that Bruce Wayne is Batman, and in retaliation Batman remote detonates the watchtower sending it crashing down to earth.

Its a completely progressive story that gets better every issue.

I didn't want to spoiler tag this because I want people to see what they are missing.
