Yeah I got a kick out of the 350Z that Jon was driving. Love the car, but that's a single man's car...not a family car!

I also got a kick out of Kate whining about the paparazzi. Seriously, there were 4-5 guys. It could always be much worse...look at what happened to Princess Diana or many other celebrities. As for Jon, not liking the lifestyle...let's go back to the 350Z. Without the show, I doubt he could afford the 350Z or spend the time with his kids that he spends with them or go on all these trips etc... IMO the show has really helped them financially. I can't imagine the costs of having 8 young children.

Onto the cheating topic. I'm not sure what's the truth or not and obviously they will never tell us, but it sure seemed like there was a lot of truth to that rumor last night. There were rumors that Jon cheated on Kate and rumors she cheated on him. Whatever the case, they both denied those rumors before the season opened stating it was tabloid trash. Last night made it look like those rumors were true. Neither of them wanted anything to do with the other.

I feel bad for the kids. Did you guys see the one daughter go up to Jon and say something like "Daddy, I miss you. Are you going to be home more?". He said something like "Daddy has to work".

We were sucked in as well. From what I understand, he's in a hotel down the road. I loved him pulling in a Nissan 350Z as well. Not gonna fit too many kids in that are we Jon? LOL

I really hope we get to see the divorce proceedings as well, I want to see what each one gets from the settlement.

I have to wonder if she's really that bitchy in real life or if it's partially selective editing by TLC. I know if someone was filming me 24/7 they could make a cut of my life where I look like a complete tool, you know?

I refuse to watch the show - I'm not going going to be a part of this spectacle; watching a family get torn apart on TV. That this is considered entertainment is ****ing sickening.

You know what's really bad about this show?

It's more interesting with all the recent drama. I really feel for the kids who will watch this in about 10-14 years and have it really impact them then.

I also heard he sleeps in the attic when they are both in the house, this has been going on for almost a year, since they got the new house last September-ish.

The paparazzi cracked me up. She was flipping out at the party about 3 guys in the trees about 200 feet away, but had NO problem with the cameras that were there actually filming of the TV show?! I mean, am I the only one seeing the contradiction there? LOL

He obviously hadn't been at the house for awhile when he was talking to his kid, he said "Daddy's have to work", whatever that means. What he meant to say was "Daddy was getting a piece". LOL

I really wish he would have pulled up in his 350Z with that 23year old, and go "Kids, meet your new mommy!"

Those poor kids and its not like they have 2-3 kids, its 8 kids. At that point, it is time to put their differences behind and work on fixing this ruined marriage. He cheated, she cheated..........so its time they look at what they both did wrong and try to fix this mess if they both want the kids to be happy.

In all reality, I think she knows that she is "megabitch" as she mentioned last night how badly she treats her husband. At first I thought he was a jerk with a few epi's that I had seen because of the way he acts. But little did I know with time that it was Kate all along being "megabitch".

What if this was all a scandal to increase ratings and hype the show more? That would be totally nuts. Imagine the ratings with last nights episode and now if this season progresses this way.

I only "discovered" the show this past weekend. I watched a fair bit of the marathon on TLC and also watched a bit of the premiere. It's clear that those two are very unhappy and that both of them did what was rumored.

When you saw them talking to the camera together Jon looked like someone killed his best friend. The guy looked so depressed and sad and Kate was in full on denial mode and trying to make herself look like the victim in all this. It's clear that their marriage is ruined irrevocably.

I feel bad for the kids but then I think to myself that in some ways Jon and Kate may have caused the problem themselves. I'm not just talking about the cheating but the whole concept of living your life 24/7 with cameras following your every move. That takes an emotional toll on people and I have a feeling that the strain of it all caused them to run off and do things they probably wouldn't have done if they were just a normal suburban couple.

They were doomed at the end of last season. When Jon says he doesnt want to do the show anymore and would rather go back to living a normal life and Kate says they might still do the show, you can see they have completely different ideas and goals at this point. In the end clearly Kate won out as they have a new season, I wouldnt be surprised if we see less and less of Jon on the show as he didnt want to keep doing it anyways. Ive heard some rather nasty things about Kate, things like when her Dad's church was donating things to her back before TLC fame she refused cribs unless she could get 6 matching cribs and then made the stipulation that they only donate money instead of items, just tasteless imo. Then I heard that she charges 200.00 for autographed photo's of her and her family, way to stick it to your fans who supported you. She sounds like someone who is paranoid the money will run out one day so shes hell bent on doing anything and everything she can now to safeguard against that in the future.

I got suckered in and watched a good portion of it. My heart went out to those kids; divorce is hard on 1-2 kids, I can't imagine the toll it would take on 8, especially the three boys who will need Daddy around as they mature. I can't say I blame Jon for stepping out, but I have a hard time believing she transformed into that overnight. That should have been nipped in the bud a long, LONG time ago. He bears partial responsibility for enabling the monster.

Yeah that sport car was funny. She is stupid though. He wants to stop the show and she wants to keep going. She is one piece of work! She became to Holly Wood. The real losers in all this is the kids. This show will cost their parents marriage. Which is sad.

Yeah, I meant 20.00 not 200.00, 200.00 would be damn near criminal. I dont agree however that people wouldnt want to watch because the kids turned 5, women everywhere are suckers for this type of show and unless the kids are moving out sometime soon I dont see their ages effecting whether they get viewers or not. Now the one thing that could hurt is the fact that its no longer a show about the hardships of raising 8 kids, and in all honesty this wasnt the case for the last couple seasons, as each season becomes more and more about family vacations and whatnot.

I saw some of the marathon episodes on Monday, and I saw where they got to go watch a Phillies game in a suite, and when they were shuttled around NY when they went to tape some morning show. I'm assuming this used to be about the hardships of raising a family of 8 kids, but it can't be too hard with all the freebies and catering they get. I think that will turn viewers off faster than anything, especially the ones who have been watching it for a long time.
