I've heard of the H#C references before but don't know what they mean. I mainly stream everything, so have ultra ultra ultra HD is not a real need for me. For $200 less am I getting a good TV here?

To be honest, I've never heard of that model, but I'll look into it.

Streamed/cast my first YouTube movie on my Vizio M55 last night. The Philadelphia Experiment with Michael Paré and Nancy Allen. Always one I could re-watch infinitely on VHS. No issues with connectivity or the tablet remote--very smooth. Picture quality was pretty decent for being upscaled from the original 720p source.

I was also watching some Planet Earth II narrated by David Attenborough On Demand, and it looked great. For you UHD folks, I highly recommend checking this series out if you can get it On Demand with your streaming/cable services. And that's just for the visual quality--doubly so if you like nature/wilderness documentaries like me.

I got a message last night that said it couldn't log into my Samsung account and to update my firmware, but it was already updated. I deleted my account and put it back in and it connected ok.

            What issue are you having?

I am going to buy that on UHD. Still wish they had gotten Snoop Dogg to narrate though..

I'll get connected to the internet, and then Amazon or Netflix won't play. Eventually might get an internet connection error message with a bunch of letters missing from the message.

Meanwhile youtube will play 4k content. It feels like a bandwidth issue but then Youtube plays high bandwidth content, lol.

Tried 2 different networks and connected a network cable to it. Tonight I'll probably factory reset.

yeah sounds like a bug, try a factor reset, hopefully that'll fix it.

Yeah, in some ways it feels like i need to 'jog' the apps, but they can't be uninstalled because they're sponsored/built-in. Figure a factory reset will do it.

Hey one thing you may want to try before you do that is to unplug your tv from the wall, wait a good, solid 2 minutes and plug it back in.

I was reading a lot the past few days about apps and how they work and it seems that solves most apps issues and you wouldn't have to reinput any settings for your TV that way.

                      Worth a shot.

Sorry to confuse....what I mean is I've heard of H(some number)C models, but unsure of the difference and if it's really going to matter for my needs. I need to research a bit more.

Does anyone here own the KU7500 Samsung set?

I have looked high and low for settings/calibration settings and can't find anything other than rtings and I prefer not to use those. I like darko on youtube how he calibrate and posted videos of the settings but cant find my model.

                          Any help is appreciated.

I've had three Smart TV's over the last five years and have yet to own one that doesn't mess up either an app like Netflix or YouTube or just internet in general. Must be a processor issue because I'm hardwired in from the start.

This seemed to resolve it. Really in the end I feel like it just needed to turn off and on the apps and there's no easy way to do that in the GUI.
