That is so their teammate has a chance to revive them and in Execution you still have to chainsaw them or curb stomp or something of the sorts to finish them off or they get back up.


As for chainsawing, continue to hold down B to keep it revved. Also, if you're shot you have to hold it down all over again.

COD3 honestly.

Offline for COD3 is unmatchable IMO, it's just insane when you jump that wall and thousands of nazis (ok, not thousands, but it damn sure feels like it) are firing away at you.

EG, you're honest assessment both Eurogamer.net and 1up.com ripped the Single Player mode.

Without other motivation, the combat is left to try and stand on sheer intensity alone. But Call of Duty 3 lacks its predecessor's ability to seemingly dilate time as the room around you melted away, leaving you in the moment of fighting for your life. Part of the problem stems from the same sort of problems that trouble the story progression as a whole. "Been there, done that" recycled missions -- fighting through trenches, blowing up artillery, driving a frantic jeep chase, and so on -- feel like you're just going through the motions, and none of it ever really leads up to anything special. Worse yet, about the time you do actually start to get into just the raw action of it all, the level suddenly ends.

But that's only the beginning of the design woes. Whereas Call of Duty 2 did an incredible job creating the illusion of an open environment, it's just the reverse here. You feel hemmed in and herded along at every turn, and the pacing also reflects that. Unless you rush forward, progress in the game grinds to a halt -- no considered approaches or tactical positioning, just advance and keep firing. At a few points, you're offered a choice of which way to proceed, but these forks in the road do little to break the sense of being in an entirely controlled environment. For instance, late in the game, you're offered the option of going high and providing sniper overwatch for the squad in the trenches. While the battle appears to rage, it actually sits at a stalemate until you take out just the right number of enemies, at which point it surges forward again. Not that you expect much of your A.I. squadmates -- their inability to contribute much at all makes it clear early on that their role is strictly window dressing for each level.

Do you guys agree with this? I don't feel like forking over $60 bones to find out CoD2 was better. No Blockbuster in my area has this game for rental.

ALL I know is that for me, the wait is OVER. Just got my CC rebate card for my bad 360 and finally after 2 weeks I am returning to the 360, and yes I will be picking up GOW. See you fools online

2 days in and im still amazed at what this game can do, amazing.

10/10 in my book, havnt seen one flaw.

Of course if you don't like the game it's no use in keeping it around. However, games that I know are really great games, I lose interest in real quickly, (that adult ADD that i haven't had diagnosed) and end of trading or selling. I realized how much money I waste doing that and figured, i'll just keep them around as i'm sure i'll want to play them later.

SoMiss, I think that it is adult ADD that many of us have with some of these videogames. I tend to buy games and then turn around and sell them on ebay after something else comes out. The last few months I haven't done that and practically kept all that I have bought. I actually listed NFS: Carbon as the first game in sometime on ebay and Trauma Center (DS) will be listed soon since we will be getting the Wii version.
