I played a little bit of this today at Best Buy, and had fun playing against a bunch of other guys as they had this system linked.

I go after work to Gamestop to pick my copy up...........it literally took opening 4 Collector's Editions to get a good set of discs. The manufacturing company that was used really ****ed up, even worse the person that designed the case screwed this up even more. Between RROD and this screw up, it doesn't help MS.

What's even on the 2nd disc? My Gamestop didn't really move too many of them. Not sure if it's the packing issue or just that it's $10 for stuff that's on youtube.

I've owned both halo and halo 2 and i don't get to play much online with kids and other commits so can anyone tell if they think it's worth it for single player

Oh crap that's stupid. why the hell would rank games only be only 4 people?

That's how it was in Halo 2. You could bring your team of 4 people to play against another random team of 4 people.

This is a pretty spectacular series of documentaries that cover just about every aspect of design. If you want to know what goes into making a blockbuster epic like Halo 3, this is really all your need. Though you'll probably never watch this video a second time, the features included are worth watching. The best are the rows of 360's flashing three red lights in the Git Ta Werk video. Yes, even at Bungie, 360s meet their maker.

Picked up my preorder today. Gamefly also shipped a copy yesterday. I may hold on to my preorder til the end of the week to see if the GF copy shows up. If it does, I'll take my copy back and exchange for NBA 2K

Now that you say that I remember playing a lot of 4 on 4 games.

nah, for a while Big Team Battle was ranked as well. Then when some update came out, they got rid of Team Swat and made Big Team Battle into "Big Team Skirmish". Since then, it's been unranked, which sucks.

I had the Collector's Edition pre-ordered, and when the guy pulled it from the shelf and I heard the discs bouncing around, I downgraded to the "regular" edition.

I don't blame you, it took me 4 CE's before I found one that had the game disc still on the case holder while we had to find a good disc 2 from all the ones opened up. I wasn't leaving until I had 2 discs that weren't messed up.........the Gamestop guy even agreed.....I was apologizing that I made him open up 4 sets, but he was like its MS's fault and they were told that they need to accomodate the customer with these.

It is really cool to playback and see what you did. I am really loving this game, though get frustrated at times. I had to replay one section for 45 minutes. I'm no epic Halo guy but I am not horrible either. Man that was frustrating, as was figuring out how to beat a Brute with the giant hammer. I really hate the sections where you face off against 10 brutes and I always luck out and have low ammo. Grunts seem a bit more effective to me this time around, and the jackal snipers can really be a pain.
