Do you inflict more damage with the default assault rifle when you shoot someone in the head instead of shooting at their body? It gets frustrating online when I'm not able to bring someone down after seemingly unloading a full clip into their back.

Always aim for the head no matter what gun you got.

Not for every gun. If your using a fully automatic gun like the Assault Rifle, SMG, Spiker always aim for their body so you can get more shots to hit them since those guns aren't accurate.

Now if you have a Battle Rifle or Carbine then yes you should aim for headshots.

Also headshots only do more damage once their shields are taken down. 3 shots from the battle rifle will take the shields down no matter where you shoot on their body. Once their shields are gone though it would take 3 or 4 shots to their body to kill them as opposed to 1 to their head.

It sucks that the achievements are for ranked games. I won't ever be playing ranked games, so oh well.

For those wanting impressions, here ya go

Online Co-op. Smooth as butter. Think Gears of War but with four players. Just like Gears, you see all the cut scenes and the load times are lightning fast. We played thru 2 missions this morning until 4:30am and never had a lag or connection problem.

Online Games: pretty smooth overall. I love some of the new weapons (Gravity Hammer owns all). The maps with the exception of the new Zanzibar really impressed me. It's like they just added one or two things to the original Zanzibar and called it a new map. The cruiser, mongoose, and the Elephant are alot of fun to drive and manuever in and are a great compliment to the Hog.

Customization:
I love the new options for customizing your character. Not only logos, but new styles of armor, etc. I haven't seen any clan options nor have I delved into the forge at all.

Graphics
Utterly Beautiful. This looks much much better than the MP beta and there were a few times my co-op partners and I died just from looking at the scenery because it's just so great looking.

Did anyone see the G4TV Halo Countdown last night? They showed some people playing at an Imax theatre and then they interviewed this kid that apparantly had just taken over the lead in kills. He looked like Harry Potter and he got all gangster and made some serious face,
"Triple Kills, Assasinations, that's what I do...."

When I realized the kid wasn't joking, that's when I really started laughing uncontollably.

That's greatness. I hope it appears on YouTube soon.

Yeah, the couple games I got in were great. I'm fixing to hop back on and try the single player for a bit. Went I got the invite from you, I hadn't even got to the Halo 3 title screen.

I played for about 45 minutes and it didn't take me long at all to remember why I loved Halo 2 and played it so much. I had to get off, but I'll be on again late tonight.

I played a little bit of this today at Best Buy, and had fun playing against a bunch of other guys as they had this system linked.

I go after work to Gamestop to pick my copy up...........it literally took opening 4 Collector's Editions to get a good set of discs. The manufacturing company that was used really ****ed up, even worse the person that designed the case screwed this up even more. Between RROD and this screw up, it doesn't help MS.

Well, they can be up to 16, but you can only invite 3 other people in your party to play.
