8 people talking at the same time would be CHAOS.

you have to have the button when the team is that big

Also, you dont have to hold it. Tap it once and start talking. It will automatically turn off after a few seconds of silence

Halo has always best been played as a 4v4 game. Most of the maps are designed for this, so thats why there arent many options for the big team stuff. Down the road im sure they will release some big maps, but for now, 4v4 is the best way to play halo
True...that does make total sense. Just doesn't help us now when 4 million people have the game and pop into online rooms. Double the people on a map meant for 4x4 doesn't give you time to do anything but kill someone or die.

In team games, if you press the d-pad I think it is for everyone, including the other team, to hear you. That is from my experience at least.
If the team is greater than 4, you have to press it

Ah, I see. Yeah, so far I have yet to be placed in a room with teams bigger than 4 people.

I'll get used to it...just don't ever see it in any other online shooter, you know?

That seriously deters team play, I'm all ready not as quick on the controller as some of the younger players, let alone if I'm trying to shoot while hit the d-pad and go "We're under attack"
it's only PTT with certain team sizes and match sizes in general... if you're playing a team game and it's 4 vs 4 or 4 vs 4 vs 4 vs 4... then there's no need to PTT because the earpiece won't be flooded with 23094823 voices at once... when it's 8 vs. 8.. or a big 16 player skirmish.. then u have to PTT

Quick question, if you save and quit does it save from your last progression? or save from last checkpoint?

Vegas has 8v8 with all 8 people talking at once, including proximity voice through the headset, and I don't think that's chaotic at all. And people talk a lot more in that game than in Halo.

Why they cant do the same thing Bioshock did with their save system is beyond me!

Yeah, but does Vegas have the same amount of little kids playing it that Halo does?

I like the button..its no biggie. I didnt know there was proximity talk in Vegas though..I thought it was just team to team.

Any buddy have any cool online tips for better jumping..aiming..shooting..etc? I have been working on my lead shots with the launcher..that is not easy.
