In Halo 2 I used green thumb because I like to aim my melees and I just had to tap B to zoom.

With Bumper Jumper, the zoom button is still the click of the right stick, right bumper is melee (very easy to aim with) and jump is left bumper. The jump really isn't important to me, but I can live with it because I can now zoom without taking my thumb off the right stick and melee without having to use my thumb on B.

It feels more natural to me.

But there are a lot of control settings, you will probably find one that suits your needs.

Im trying this one..tha should almost be the default, because reloading and picking up weapons seems better suited for a face button. I know in R6Vegas, I throw grenades with the Rbumper.

I posted this question earlier but I think it might have been overlooked.

I was wondering if someone could answer a question regarding co-op. I was reading on bungie.net that there are 2 scoring options, free-for-all and team based. If you play team based scoring, do you still get an individual score for the achievements? Or is the only way to do this is to play "free-for-all"?

The way it is explained on bungie.net is a little confusing, and I want to make sure that I start the co-op mode in a way so I can get the achievements.

I think the free-for-all and team based really doesn't do much. I played Team based with my roommate and it at the end of the level we both had to get at least 15,000 points for the achievements ( I have 1 achievement he does not because he decided to suck balls on Tsuvo Highway).

But if you have a few gold skulls and play on normal you both should breeze through the 15,000 point limit.

Halo 3 shatters retail record; sells $170M in 24 hrs

In just 24 hours, Halo 3 took in $170 million in total receipts. As a result, Microsoft surpassed its original expectation of $155 million by 10 percent.

The previous record-holder was Sony's Spiderman 3 released in theaters earlier this year. The movie brought in $151 million in single day ticket sales.

"Halo 3 has become a pop-culture phenomenon," said Microsoft's Shane Kim in a statement. "Not only is "Halo 3" setting sales records, it's also redefining entertainment. Within the first 20 hours alone, we've seen more than a million Xbox Live members come online to play Halo 3 -- the most active day in Xbox Live history."

In 2004, Halo 2 set the same record with $125 million in a 24 hour period. Halo 3 retails for $60, $70, or $130 depending on special edition features.

Too bad some of that money will probably go to replacing bad CE discs.

I am loving this game - think I'm still fairly early in campaign mode but I'm in no rush to get through it. Visuals are amazing; I find myself wanting to look around too much feeling like I'm missing something. I'm not very good but find multiplayer to be ridiculous fun also. Fantastic game

Finally got a chance to start playing this.

Wow, just a fantastic game. I have a LOT of rust to shake off before I go to multiplayer but I can't wait. Getting used to the 360 controls is taking me a bit longer than I hoped but I love the game.

The enemy AI is fantastic too and the game looks gorgeous. It's all that I could have hoped for.

Would anyone be interested in a Halo 3 photomode competition? People would submit their screen shots that they have taken, then we could put them in a poll and people would vote for their favorite.

Resizing it down to atleast 1024 or so would have been nice. Either way that shot is SWEET. I made a picture/video thread, go post it in there! If there is enough interest I think we should get a comp goin.

Nothing beat that guy saying they would have beat us had they not had Nightmare..LOL
