Picked up the PS3 bundle this morning.....12:01 a.m. to be more specific. Played a couple songs using the drums. Needless to say, I freakin' suck, but had an absolute blast sucking! This game is great. I can't believe I had never played it before. Now, I'm a bit loopy because I'm tired, but I can't wait to get up tomorrow morning and rock out......crap style!

I picked the PS3 version up at midnight too, but at Walmart. I saw you playing last night on my friends list, this morning too LOL. I was doing the same.

So I think I decide that I'm working my way towards owning all DLC despite knowing it'll cost about $300. I only need 150 more songs to complete it.

I bought 18 new songs last night, to run my total up to 118 DLC. And got the other 5 Grateful Dead songs I hadn't bought (only had Casey Jones) and I must say that it's probably some of the most fun songs in the entire game.

This game has really changed my view towards music. Much greater respect for Rush, Boston and The Who. And I don't think The Grateful Dead isn't just for hippie losers who smoke pot all day. Some of their music is actually good.

And this site is really cool. It allows you to track your DLC. That way if you want to know if I have a song, all you have to do is go to my page.

Since my Dad is a huge Dead-head and I grew up listening to them, the 6 songs they have in Rock Band are, without a doubt, my favorite songs in the game. I think I've played Sugar Magnolia and Franklin's Tower every single time I've turned on the game. I cannot play the game without playing those two.

I just picked this up today from Best Buy myself. I'm really impressed with the quality of the instruments. Kudos to Harmonix on a solid product. I obviously need some work on my drumming though. I tried playing In Bloom and Enter Sandman on Rock Band 1 Easy and only scored 84 and 86%. Weak.

The game eventually forces you to play on medium and then later on hard. That's pretty bad I think since apprently the average is medium. The other 2 games added a difficulty below easy.

Yeah after the score went to 28-0, I cracked open a beer and booted up Rock Band. Ugh.

The game eventually forces you to play on medium and then later on hard. That's pretty bad I think since apprently the average is medium. The other 2 games added a difficulty below easy.

For the record, it only forces you to do this later in the World Tour mode. Through most of it, you can play on any difficulty. You can play tour challenges on any difficulty you want.

What is the best way to unlock a lot of songs?

I'm just playing through all the songs in each venue in each city but is there an easier way like playing the setlists, etc.?

I have to say now I understand why all you guys love this game. Man this is fun. I got the bundle today at besbuy and played for 5 straight hours non stop. I played all the instruments. all the instruments are fun in their own way. Even singing is fun I have to say in the past couple of weeks I have picked up 2 great games: NBA 2k9 and now RB 2. I was playing 2k9 non-stop and Im a huge basketball fan but RB is just the complete package for anyone that likes music.

The best thing is the fact you haven't even cracked into the downloadable content yet. There's so many great songs and such a variety that you're bound to find something you'll like. DLC basically keeps this game fresh.

So much to look forward too soon with ACDC, Foo Fighters album, SRV album, etc.
