    Talk about getting disappointed.

I was on Shacknews and saw the Nevermind album cover so I got real excited, then I scroll down and see no Smells Like Teen Spirit, Come As You Are, and Lithium.

I'll probably buy Breed, Stay Away, and On a Plain.

I think either tomorrow or Sunday I'm going to try and do the endless setlist 2 without pausing. I'm going to have so much time the next couple of days and I haven't played in a week so why the hell not?

dk, how were you able to sneak in that quick piss? And are there any songs with really long beginnings that have no notes?

Question: This has probably already been answered before, but are you able to use GHWT drums with RB2 (PS3)? I like how their drums are set up, but am a bigger RB fan, so I will just get the game disk and figure out a way to return my RB1 drums to Best Buy .

              Thanks guys!

Sorry for all the newb questions. Just preparing myself for Sunday.....not like I'll have any time to play (kids, football games, beautiful weather, etc.)

All I'm really looking for is suggestions on how to first approach this game initially. Which instrument is easier to grasp a hold of....the guitar or the drums? I have limited play time experience with any of the GH games just to give you some background. Also, which mode in RB2 should I start with? In general, for someone with little experience with these rythmn based games, how long does it take until it clicks or I "get it"? I've played sporatically over the past couple years, and felt rather frustrated and very inexperienced. Do you most of you guys have to play through a song several times until you basically memorize the notes?

Any other tips would be very welcome. Thanks in advance. You guys have been extremely helpful thus far.

I would say guitar is easier to learn at first, especially if you have no rhythm like me. I can get through most songs at HARD level on guitar, while I can do very few songs on HARD with the drums (to be fair, I play the guitar a lot more than drums).
I'm sure memorizing the songs helps, but I don't play enough to do that. I do remember patterns from songs when I'm playing them.

I've played guitar a lot more, so I'm going to say guitar if you've never had any experience with a GH/RB game before. For me, after playing the guitar for so long, learning the drums was pretty easy. I was able to do quite a few songs on Hard in about a week, but there are a lot I still can't do.

the drums seem like they are a blast to play. Are they fun?

Drums are a lot of fun to play, but I still personally prefer the guitar. Probably because I'm really good at guitar and have played it longer though. You can't go wrong with either imo.
