Well, I hope to find this game, as, everything I have read has been very positive about it.

I like the fact that it sounds like it is very difficult, as, I am the type of gamer that typically plays a game on the hardest available difficulty.

Plus, I like it when a game rewards you for playing smart and punishes you for being foolhardy, which, it sounds as if this game does in spades.

I think you hit right on the directional pad, and then hit R1. At least that is how the Temple Knight does it. But, it may vary from class to class.

Hope you have a catalyst or talisman(magic wand, more or less), or you just wasted your souls...

I found out the hard way that you need a talisman for miracles (white magic stuff) even though I already had a catalyst (black/attack magic. 5000 souls on a heal spell down the drain...

I got my copy in Best Buy on Saturday. They didn't have any copies on the floor though. I looked on BestBuy.com from my iPhone and it said that the store had copies available. I spoke to a clerk and he grabbed me a copy from the back. He said they only received a small number of a copies and they did not put them out on the floor because a few employees wanted them.

Wow, cool story. I feel really fortunate to have my copy then.

I hope that the Atlus will get more copies out there. Everyone needs to play this one. Between this and Uncharted 2 I don't know if I will see the light of day for a few days.

Yeah found out late last night... Oh well...

Either way the game is awesome but I think I've dropped more F bombs playing this game than all other games this year combined.

Damn, usually don't play RPG type games but this game is sounding very tempting. But with UC2 coming out tomorrow, might wait until later for price drop.

This game is really difficult and can be frustrating so just keep that in mind. I just wish it was a little forgiving because it has a lot of neat ideas but just not sure if I'll ever see them.

Maybe this is common knowledge, but if not I will share it with you all to spare you from some misery.

No spoilers ahead so don't worry.

I am trying to get past a certain point in the game. And I can pretty much get to the point fairly easily. In the process of trying to past this point I have accumulated a sizable amount of souls. I usually die in a "safe area" so I don't have any issues in touching my bloodspot to regain my lost soul. But, I had an unfortunate series of events that led to my premature demise. Needless to say, I couldn't touch the bloodspot, which means I had to say "bye bye" to my sizable amount of souls. I thought that I could still touch the spot, but when I got there it was gone.

So, what I learned was you can only touch the bloodspot of your most recent death.

With that said, I love this game. So brutal, so intense, so satisfying when you actually get past a certain point. I even find myself physically sweating at certain points in the game just from the stress involved.

Nope, I haven't progressed that far yet. I have the blue stone, but I haven't used it.
