I was thinking of getting this, but can't decide between this and Unchartered.. any recommendations? I like the RPG more than strictly adventure type games. So I'm assuming Demon Souls fits the RPG genre?

I would rent UC2 and buy Demon Souls for longevity. I can't justify $60 on a game that will last a weekend. That is just me though

Man, I got this game and talk about addicting. I was up til 4 am last night playing.

I kept on saying, oh just one more time. Lots of fun and frustrating at the same time.. and the first time I saw that flying dragon breathe fire, I almost **** my pants. I had the surround sound system cranked up and it shook the whole living room.

Love the game.

i wish check points in this game where better like i could care less about dieing and having to come back like half way but i keep dieing and having to do the same thing over and over gets kinda lame.

The reviews were all pretty clear that this is the most difficult game of the year. If you are growing sick of dying, then maybe you should sell it. I am sure you can get 50+ dollars for it, since people are looking high and low for this game.

Yeah when I die I always go around and collect more souls to get plenty of health etc... before heading back out to get my lost souls...

The reviews were all pretty clear that this is the most difficult game of the year. If you are growing sick of dying, then maybe you should sell it. I am sure you can get 50+ dollars for it, since people are looking high and low for this game.

i didnt say i hated the difficulty of the game i just hate the checkpoints.....

The lack of checkpoints are one of the biggest reasons the game is difficult. If they were in, this game could be finished in a short time.

You should just go to an area that you can handle easily and just build up souls to level up. I got real familiar with Stage 1-1.

Same here, I kept farming the 1-1 red eyed knight. 2000 Souls a pop.

oh i didnt really think about this. i like the game dont get me wrong its a very interesting concept this is one of the reasons i prefer my ps3 over the other....because of different games like these

Same here, I kept farming the 1-1 red eyed knight. 2000 Souls a pop.

4-1 is better for farming once you beat the first boss, you can get 2000 souls in about 3 mins.

Oh man, & I've done so well up until now. I've been limiting my purchases because I can't play all the games I have now! This sounds like my type of game though. I was thinkng about importing it a few months back, but I held out. If I see this game, I have to pick it up. Too many familar faces from OS that have simlar taste to me giving this game the thumbs up. Thanks again guys...
