I have actually just been using the right stick. You can pull the right stick down before the draw to get you hand closer to your gun. When you draw, just pull the right stick up. Since the right stick controls your aiming cursor, you save a split second.

Those of you getting shot at for no reason in Thieves' Landing: It's because you have a high honor level. Thieves' Landing is named that for a reason, and they don't like goody-goodies.

You can avoid it by wearing a bandana, but be careful to remove it when you're doing something that gives fame or honor.

Has anyone bought the Saloon at Armadillo?

Is it worth spending the 500 dollars on?

I want to buy it but I'm hesitant to spend almost half of my money down the drain.

Damn I need a new tv, I could have sworn that number was 500. I literally have to squint my eyes to see see it.

My tv is kinda small but, not to small and old and the resolution sucks compared to newer tv's. Gotta get a big screen for my birthday comin' up.

I'm not sure if you can buy the whole place or not I just figured you could.

Anyways what is the upside of buying the up stairs anyway? Is it just a save spot?

That's exactly what it is. I find it helpful to have them scattered around the map. I think I own property in Armadillo, Thieve's Landing, Escalera, and Chuparosa.

Exactly what happened to me about 10 minutes ago. I just now got into the town and I thought it was just guys clowin' and shootin' off into the night like you see in the movies.

But, then Isaw a couple of bullets fly past my head and I just like WTF!? I had no idea why they were shooting at me and i may be a goody goody like someone else put it lol but, I got a dark side to.

Just a warning to everyone, stay away from visiting youtube for any videos. People have been posting majors game spoilers in the comments. I'm actually pretty angry about one of them.

YEAH I KNOW damn I wish somebody would have told me. I was reading a comment and then realized I was reading a spoiler, so I quickly looked away and tried my hardest to pretend like it never happened (but it did )

Although what I read seemed highly impractical, if that actually is the spoiler to the game, I'm gonna be pissed

I finished the game. After getting the Legend of the West, I just went on a mission binge. Great game.

I loved this game, the ending was very satisfying for many reasons. Not only for the satisfying redemption at the end, but the entire end game of building the relationship with the family after getting Dutch. It's funny how easily I was able to herd the cattle compared to first attempting it on the ranch.

Now the only thing that doesn't make sense is finishing some of the stranger quest I left hanging. There someone still waiting for John at Thieves Landing.

One cool thing, look at the issue numbers on the newspapers. It jumps from 60 to 213 after the credits.

And yes if you saw my warning post, someone posted the death of John and playing as Jack on a youtube comment before I finished. That was why I blasted through it.

Man, I was out in the wild when I spotted a nice dark brown horse standing on some rocks. I lasso'd it and had to balance it for 20 seconds. Then I went off and did a side quest, and when I whistled for my horse, my old beaten down horse came back. When I found my new horse and started riding off, I saw my old horse waiting there all lonely with his saddle still on. I couldn't abandon him. I jumped off the wild horse mid-gallop and re-united with my trusty steed. He may be ugly, but we've been through too much together.

Man I love this game. Anyone else feel like poker is the best part? I can't stop playing it.

I would have shot that stupid F'n horse then skinned him!

I've done that like 3 or 4 times now. It gets annoying REALLY quick.

I bought a suit and a bandana thinking that this will hide who I am and they won't recognize me but, that didn't go over to well.

Is the bandana just for looks or does it hide your identity?

It might have been 500 if you are talking about that little house you can buy? I think it cost me $250 but i am evil so maybe it's cheaper for me in thieves landing than you. It's just another save point / ammo refill chest etc.

I wish you could buy some of the bar's etc and collect money every week like previous GTA's.

How do you get gold status on missions? Is it based on time only or a combination of time, shot % and headshots?
