So Im messing around in a town and I see a shadow shoot across the ground from the sky. Instantly I know its a dragon and before I know it its breathing fire on all the citizens and children of Riverwood. I felt powerless as it refused to land and me being strictly two handed warrior with no bow skills as I watched my archer try to nickel and dime the beast while it stalk us all from above. It was amazing as most of the NPC took cover under awnings on buildings. Eventually it dropped to half life and made the grim mistake of landing right in front of me. 4 mighty swings of my beast war-hammer and the monster was done with.
The sheer randomness of the event and the instant horror and butterflies that came over me when I realized what was coming makes this game utterly amazing. I dont think there is any candidate near this one for game of the year.
Skyrim Tradmark:A Dragon's shadow sweeping in front of you out of nowhere and sinking your heart as you think of someway to either escape or take it down. Amazing.Comment

So I'm minding my own business creating some Elven Armor when a bunch of hired thugs come and try to kill me. I barely survive my encounter with them, only do feel the whole place rumbling and the sound of a dragon. Luckily everyone in town was there to help me out with this one.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Still no dragons for me, but I just had a badass moment.
Wandering around, I see this interesting looking place and go have a look. I get closer and all of a sudden, I hear a wolf howling. I look around and spot it, it sees me as well. I ready my bow and it starts running towards me. I aim and as it gets closer, I release a shot and all of a sudden it drops dead. I go close and bam, arrow straight thru the eye. Sick.
I want one as a pet though. Maybe there'll be a direwolf pet mod soon.Comment

Playing as a Redguard and splitting my focus between one handed weapons and destruction. It's beautiful so far. Set people on fire as they walk towards me, then get some slow-motion finishes with a giant *** axe.

Made the mistake of walking up to a mammoth camp that had a giant there also. Shot the mammoth with an arrow, which only aggro'd 3 mammoths into chasing me. Tried to see if the giant would fight them, but instead he gibbed me with his club.
