    Or you can STEAL them...

Or enchant a weapon of your choice with Soul Trap, then you've got all you want at your disposal.

Since, I didn't have one I had to hook up my PS3 controller with motionjoy. Google search it and choose the 360 emulator on the menu. I like the way it plays with a controller.

Side note: I went into Gamestop about a week ago and asked if they had any wired 360 controller. They told me they stop making 2 years ago.

See, this kinda sucks. Because I would much rather play with the 360 controller but I don't have a wired one, nor do I have a dongle. I think I will just stick with the mouse and keyboard for now. I'm around seven hours into the game and I still press wrong keys constantly but I'll get better with it.

Best buy has pc controllers that have the 360 interface built in, so you just plug and play. They are like 25 bucks.

yeah, I'm not going to buy one of those just to play Skyrim. I actually just bought a new controller for my PS3, it's got the same layout as a 360 controller. That's how much I dislike the first-party controllers from Sony.

Most of the mages' shops have filled soul gems you can buy from them, but they are pricey.
And then there's a permanent soul gem you can get through a quest that fills with grand souls. Fill the gem, enchant or charge, use again. Rinse and repeat.

Actually quite the opposite. I had a lot more trouble with last years lockpicking.

Just go real slow, if you feel the controller start to vibrate, back off, move and try again.

                    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Oh yea, I restarted my toon as I said I would. It was a grind, but I just hit level 22. Dual wielding Draedic swords(One enchanted with frost damage, the other with soul absorb), Dragonscale Legendary armor with a few enchantments, Draedic bow, and a solid pool of magic. Magic and armor improved with +smithing potion, and +smithing gauntlets. Smooth sailing thus far.

My current follower is Ahtar. The Redguard executioner/prison guard from Solitude. He's equipped with Draedic armor and a cool executioner axe that came standard. I'll roll with him for a bit before deciding whether or not I want to go grab Ghorbash again.

Oh, and I just realized why I prefer Dragonplate armor to Draedic. Not only is it significantly lighter, but I primarily play 3rd person so I roll my toon without a helmet. Helmet-less, I think Dragonplate looks better. With the helmet equipped, I prefer Draedic.

Edit: I can't figure out how to start the Dark Brotherhood quest? And trust me, I've murdered quite a few people. Playing the rebel/anti-hero role.

Bumi, go to the tavern in Riverwood and ask the bartender about rumors. Some kid in Windhelm will be trying to summon the DB. Go talk to the kid and kill who he says to kill then go back to talk to the kid again and sleep. Should get you started with the DB.

Yeah, I was opening expert and master locks from the very beginning while only breaking 6 or so picks at the worst. Just use a light touch on the turn.

Edit: Oh, and RE: Armor weight, it shouldn't matter unless you artificially acquire upgraded armor since you should be at about the point to get the conditioned perk which negates weight. But, then again, if you are going to game the system to get high end armor from the beginning you might as well game the system all the way and pick armor based on looks alone then max out the armor rating on it, then put a high carry weight enchantment on and save perks you would have spent on armor.
