Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
I'm at 140 hours right now, my gut tells me that I've probably got another 30 hours left.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Can't tell how long I've been playing now. Keep the game going and come back to it too many times. Even if you leave it paused the timer seems to run.Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
I guess it's not really all that strange. I just see all of these amazing comments about it. For some reason, I couldn't stay interested. I love Mass Effect though, and am really looking forward to the Trilogy release on Next Gen. Also, I have never played a Dragon Age game, so I have no clue of the back story. That may have had something to do with it.Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
30 hours into my Female Elf Mage Nightmare playthrough. Didn't have much trouble until the last part of the mission, In Your Heart Shall Burn.
Mage is a lot fun. Now I'm trying to decide on what specialization to get, but none of them are really jumping out. Kind of leaning towards Knight Enchanter and only getting Spirit Blade, Fade Cloak, and Resurgence for a balanced build. I just don't want to play Knight Enchanter like I've seen how a lot of other people do.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
If you're a mage, it's almost required that you have ice move where you you turn white and move really fast. Forget the name. Best way to deal with those fear demons and their lil' warp attack.
I mean, it's hard to be anything but Knight-Enchanter. If I were to choose another one it'd probably be Rift Mage. Mainly because I want Your Teacher to hang around.
Some of the side characters are just awesome. Like Dagna. She is just too damn adorable.Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
I tried both Knight Enchanter and Rift Mage for a couple hours each.
Knight Enchanter is interesting, but that Fade Shield passive is so ridiculously powerful. With it I never felt threatened and without it on Nightmare, I couldn't play the class how I wanted. I'm not really in favor of nerfing in single player, but in patch 2, instead of them deciding to no longer allow the Knight Enchanter to trigger combos with Spirit Blade, I would have rather seen Fade Shield nerfed a little. Doing this I think would have given the class a neat risk/reward dynamic.
Rift Mage I was sold on at first, but the more I played, the more I noticed the weakened bugs. The entire gimmick of the Rift Mage is to debuff enemies, but if Weakness is applied to something again before it expires (which is easy to do as a Rift Mage) it becomes immune to it for 20 seconds. Also, it's not just your skills that can cause it to bug out, but passives for other party members that have a chance to cause Weakness. When this happens, you lose the mana regen and 30% damage reduction. Ultimately, the mana regen is what makes this class so much fun and coupled with cooldown passives, you're a CC and AOE monster, that is until the bug occurs. It doesn't happen every encounter, but it happened enough to where I'm just considering waiting for patch 3 before continuing on and hopefully this is addressed.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Dragon Age III: Inquisition
Ok can some one help with this
Before I bought Dragon Age I downloaded the trial from EA Vault. Then I deleted that download before putting my bought copy in my Xbox
Anyway the game has been fine until now. The last few times I have loaded the game it keeps telling my trial with Dragon age is nearly up and says "Go to store" or "play trial"
I usually just push B and continue to the game. Well now when I tried to load my save files it says "This save file could not be loaded because it was not created in EA access trial mode. Only save created while EA access trial mode is running can be loaded"
What is going on? It loads slightly older saves but not my last manuel save or the auto saves. So what have I goofed up?
Edit: I got it to work by taking the game out then putting it back in. But I hope it's not something I have to keep dealing with and I lose my saves or something
I'm not sure if it thought I was playing the trial or whatLast edited by Swamp Swagger; 12-23-2014, 07:17 PM.Comment

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition
Really loving this game once I got to Skyhold. The Adamant quest really kicked things up a notch.
A game really has my attention when I struggle for 5 min making a major decision. Or I that I really want to put Iron Bull in my party but Sera has been better killing things from far awaySaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
