That one and the bow one are insanely powerful. The sneak one is pretty good but I never really used it that much.

Yeah it looks real good. Framerate is steady, the open world is nice and detailed. The cutscenes look really good but I've seen just as good on the top quality PS3 games. One thing graphically that does bother me is the character skins are only for gameplay, the cutscenes are all prerendered with the default skin.

I noticed last night that I have maxed out my Power meter. It shows 0 until the next level. I guess I did too many power struggles and stuff in the first part of the game because I have just arrived at the second area. I still have lots of XP I can earn to unlock abilities, but I was surprised that I maxed out my Power so quickly.

That Shadow Strike Kill ability is pretty damn legit.

I love it when captains are Shadow Strike Kill-able.

Also, I've wrecked house so badly in Udun that level 4 uruks are becoming warchief. Dudes with ridiculous weaknesses and such.

Also, had a "The Surgeon" class dude die then come back three times. Last time his face was all bandaged up. I kinda felt bad for him. Still wiped him out though.

Interesting update. I won't use it but somebody here probably will. From polygon.

"An update released today for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Monolith's*Shadows of Mordor*adds a new photo mode to the game, letting players to take custom screenshots of Talion slicing up orcs, collecting flowers, riding Graugs and more.

Once enabled, players can stop the action at (almost) any time to snap a photo with a click of the left analog stick. Players have good control of the camera and settings like zoom, distance and depth of field. Photo mode lets budding Middle-earth photographers apply filters to warm and cool scenes, add film grain, textures and other visual effects as well as overlay borders and logos."

Bought this game the day after it came out, kinda sad I did because it just collects dust.

It was cool for about an hour for me, with 2K15 and Destiny...and hopefully Live 15 is decent I will never play this again.

I think I'm going to trade it in, I find it way too repetitive but I can see why people would like it.

I gotta manfacture some drama here. So I've actually been throwing fights with uruks. And I've gone and undid a certain mission that calls for you to brand all 5 warchiefs in Numen, namely by going to where they are and popping their heads with Banish. Now I'm gonna go to Undun, collect all the tags and artifacts and fast forward time a bunch of times and go and take down Numen's warchiefs all over again.

                        Hehehe.

Finally saw what some of you were talking about in regards to enemies coming back from the dead. I had a nemesis called Korthog the Assassin and we went back and forth for a while to where he ended up being level 20. I finally decided to let it be known that I was coming for that *** and went out to kill him. He gave me a good fight as always but I won in the end. He gave his last words and everything, telling me to kill him quickly and be done with it, so I did...or so I thought.

A few hours later I decided to continue on with the main story and started killing warchiefs. On the last warchief I had to make a supporter of the warchief scream for 20 seconds before he'd come out. Well after I did that, the warchief came on out, flanked by like 12 bodyguards and 2 captain bodyguards, one of which was this crazy *** Korthog with his face all bandaged up.

I really laughed my *** off because this dude was living for like, ever and had been my number one nemesis for the longest. Then when I finally think I'm done with him, he comes back looking like some ghetto mummy. He was a lot easier the second time around though, since there were plenty of caragor and fly swarms around to scare him. I just had to catch because this guy was FAST! I do wonder if he'll come back again though. He was just laid out in the menu, no head on a pike. I wouldn't mind running into him again.

Is there a way to guarantee a decapitation when you do an execution on a captain? Sometimes I get it and the captain is dead for good, but other times I just "kill" him and he comes back.

Not that it matters too much anymore as I've been commanding them of late to go overthrow other captains and warchiefs.

Only kill method that is a guaranteed decapitation is Shadow Strike Kill. But they can't be immune to ranged attacks for it to work at all.
