Didn't really want to start a thread for this but if any of you have a old laptop that you are not using BB is give $75+ in the form of a gift card.

I traded in a 11 year old Dell that wouldn't even turn on and they gave me a gc for 85. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

I think the fine print says one per customer, but I am going to try it today with one of mine then have my GF take the other one with us while we are there lol. Along with the minimum 75$ e card, it also gives you a 75$ credit towards the purchase of a Samsung Notebook Pro 9.


The one I am trading in today is a 2003 HP 1GB RAM with Windows XP lol. Normal tade in value of 1.35 and with promotion, 75.00.....................winning lol

So even if you do two different stores, it only works once for that account?

What if you don't have a BB account? You can't do it at all / they make you sign up then and there if you are still intent on doing it?

Most of my laptops have cracks and such in them, but they work. The only one that doesn't work has a fried motherboard. I'll have to think long and hard about which one I am most willing to part ways with if it's just one of them.

You have to provide ID and they tie everything to your phone number/email. Honestly have no idea if you could go to a different location and use a different phone number. Should try it lol

Would they accept them without the hard drives in them? Even though they are old, those hard drives would still have information on them.

Lol Mom and Dad said they had 2 laptops that they were going to throw away and told me to please take them......they didn't want to fool with a 75 ecard for each.....I said sure, I'll take them, no problem lol

Edit: never mind, you can select no battery/charger.

Hoping I can get rid of 2. If so, Xbox Elite controller, here I come.

Edit 2 : just finished up. Geek Squad sent me to customer service 😁 Scanned in 2 10+ year old laptops that haven't turned on in years. No chargers and removed both hard drives prior.

$150 later I walked out with an Elite controller at a wash. Was a good day, thanks for the heads up, Flight!

Just took another old laptop that was buried in boxes from my garage down to BB. It was an old Gateway with missing keys and no charger. Got a cool $75 gift card. Crazy deal BB has going until the 15th.
