What's wrong with the skinning animations?

Just annoyed me seeing the same animation over and over.

Far Cry Primal (Feb. 2016)

Just opened up a Outpost and one of the female villagers was weeping over one of the male villagers that I had slained. Wasn't having any of that so I put a Spear through her skull. The whole village turned on. Ungrateful SOB's[emoji23]

Also what's pretty cool is you hear/see other villagers getting mauled throughout your travels. The screams of tigers mauling victims at night is pretty scary.

I saw 2 white tigers in the distance fighting each other and I guess a villager thought they were a meal maybe? 5 seconds later he's screaming because they are tearing him apart.

I'm hoping there are snakes. Lol

The more I play the better it's getting. Easily a solid 8

As I was typing this a Jaugar and a white wolf snuck up on me and mauled me together. So as I'm skinning some other shizznick is flanking me. This type of randomness is what really stands out.

Hearing a lot of mixed opinions on this game. Will wait for the price drop that occurs with all Ubi games before checking it out.

Yeah....plus i have FC fatigue a bit, so a break from that would be good....

I think I'll enjoy this eventually, but not must have right now.

Good stuff, Mamba. Sucks that the story is weak again, though. The outpost clearing is definitely the best part of the game, but I like a good story holding things together. The Witcher 3 has kind of spoiled me in that regard when it comes to big open world games like this. Far Cry 4's was trash, so I can't imagine this one being much worse. By the time I knock out a few other games I'm working on, I'm sure this will be on sale. Thanks for the input.

The Witcher 3 has kind of spoiled me in that regard when it comes to big open world games like this. Far Cry 4's was trash, so I can't imagine this one being much worse. By the time I knock out a few other games I'm working on, I'm sure this will be on sale. Thanks for the input.

This type of game is for those with patience. I'm sure some won't like it expecting a fast pace experience.

I liked the story quite a bit in 3 and 4 (especially 3... Vaas was an amazing villain). I wouldn't argue that they were Last of Us quality or anything, lol, but I definitely enjoyed them. That said, something about this game just seems to be... missing... to me. Maybe story, maybe lack of variety in weaponry, maybe the aforementioned FC fatigue... I don't know. I'll be waiting for a sale for sure but will definitely keep my eye on the reviews and impressions.

I actually picked FC4 back up 3 weeks ago and am now 80% completed. I put it down because of FC fatigue. But got back into it full force. I actually think overall it is the best in the series top to bottom. Story wise not as good as FC3 but good enough. But Kyrat is freaking amazing (and huge) and the random encounters are phenomenal.

I should be at 100% completion by the middle of March. Then it will be MLB 16 time.

I will no doubt pick up Primal. But I will wait for a substantial price drop (under 25 bucks) and then pull the trigger. I love FC games. 3 and 4 are fantastic and this looks really cool.

This is me...I really love the style of game, just get a big fatigued with the Ubi style (AC and FC share the main unlocking style). Anything I buy now will be different for a bit.

I'm sure I'll love Primal, and sounds different enough to be fun...

I hope they tweak FC5 though to make it a little different...i don't think they can just keep doing minor tweaks and survive.

Not much to report as I am only about an hour in.

I've gotten past the opening sequence and have met my first human. Crafted a few weapons and killed a few cavemen. Some of the random encounters have been pretty cool.

I've only unlocked a very small portion of the map but what I have explored up to this point looks pretty damn good.

Gonna be on tonight around 10pm and I should be able to get a couple hours in to get a good feel for it.

Is this going to be a good drinking game for me to play? like I mean just sit and drink gin for hours and play this or will it be too difficult to survive if i'm inebriated?

Was excited to get into this tonight, but right now xbox is having issues with digitally purchased games launching. Looks like I'm stuck waiting until that gets ironed out before I can play.

Back in the day, my buddy and I were playing NBA Live one Saturday afternoon and working on a 30 pack. We finished and were like, "Hey, it should be about time to head uptown and start getting everyone together to head to the club." We walked outside...and the sun was still up. Lol! You don't realize how much you've been drinking when you're wrapped up in a video game.
