    Re: Days Gone

I picked this game up during the Days of Play sale. Not very far into it yet probably about 10 hours but so far I love the heck out of it. They could have called it The Walking Dead instead of Days Gone. It has it all , walkers that want to kill you , groups of people that want to kill you , and safe little communities spread out in the world. Plus riding the motorcycle is a blast and taking out freakers (I'm calling them walkers) with a hatchet or machete is a boat load of fun.

      Re: Days Gone

Had put this down the last month as I really dove into MLB The Show.

Picked it back up this weekend and was reminded how much I love it.

Tons of fun combat and an underrated storyline!

Watching the credits roll now. Man in my opinion the reviewers blew this one.

(Which is why I never trust them)

I honestly thought this game was brilliant. Great characters, great story, great world. The whole package was a lot of fun for me and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and will play it again soon.

        Bravo Bend, Bravo!!

Just got an email from Sony and a free Gold Deacon Avatar for beating the game. Kind of cool. Props to Bend for this.

You might want to hide that PS above under a spoiler tag. Definitely info people early on in the game won’t want to see.

Ok , hold on here. I didn't buy this game on day one because of all the lack luster reviews. I don't understand , I love this game , the further I get into it the better it gets. My only hope is that it ends in a way that will promote a Days Gone 2.

Yeah, definitely don't understand the low review scores. I loved Days Gone as it was easily my open world freaker dream game come true.

Loving the new challenges. Really like them a lot. Its kind of nice having modes that I can play solo for 20-30 minutes and then just put down.

I know this is a stupid question but how do you start the challenges? I went into the challenges and couldn't figure out which button actually started the challenge?

Hold the square button on the load-out screen.

I finally picked this up for under $30 and its perfect timing as I am needing a new game to play. I've only played about 1 hour, but my initial thoughts are I am enjoying it and I am agreeing more with the user reviews then the critics.

I am pretty deep into this game now, I've slowed down a bit on doing missions and I'm spending some time riding around , clearing nests and such. I tell you this , this game has a way of throwing stuff at you , one minute I'm just riding along enjoying the sights , the next I'm shouting expletives and riding as if my life depended on it , because it does. This game has actually scared the crap out of me a couple times. Night travel is interesting.......Very interesting....

Yeah, this game does a great job of building atmosphere and tension. There were a couple of times that I realized I was holding my breath or sitting forward on my couch because I was just so wrapped up in what was going on.

I really have no idea what crawled up all of these reviewers butts and died, but this is a great game and deserved better. I am glad people still gave it a shot and word of mouth is helping this game out.
