Finished up the main story, today. God, I’ve loved this game! I did all of the side missions as I went, so the only thing I have left to do is clear one more NERO checkpoint and take out the hordes. The story was incredible. One of my favorites.

I finished the story earlier this week, I definitely loved this game.

Just to compare to another great game in RDR2...I'll say that I loved RDR2 as well. I do feel that RDR2 dragged during a few sections of the game, and it felt like I was going nowhere for a while. I ended up getting burned out/took a few week-long breaks from RDR2. Again, I loved RDR2, but just to compare it to my experience with Days Gone, I NEVER got bored or burned out with Days Gone. I didn't fast travel once, because I was so sucked in to not only the story and main missions, but all of the random occurrences that pop up throughout the map. I wish there was a way to find how many hours I poured into Days Gone, but I'd guess around 50 or so. And I loved every second of it.

I haven't fired up my PS4 in a few days, but I guess they just put out a new update for the game. From what I've read...

Sarah now shows up in Iron Mike's camp. You can also reset some of the missions to 0% and re-do them, such as the Infestation Zones.

Anyways, Days Gone will definitely go down as a favorite of mine in this generation of gaming. I have a few hordes to clean up, and a few more trophies for the platinum (I've never gotten a platinum trophy), but I think I'll finally do just that and keep playing this game for a bit.

Looks like I am firing up this puppy again tonight with this update.

It is my GOTY.

Got the Platinum trophy the other day, my first Platinum trophy ever. Kind of bummed, since there's nothing left for me to do in the game lol. Can't wait until they (hopefully) release a sequel. Now onto Star Wars when it drops this weekend.

I would recommend the game. Currently playing it and enjoying it. Definitely worth adding to the log.
