The fact the flavor is Southern Pecan would sell me on that.

I'm a little confused. Someone help me out...

So if I had Sam Adams Seasonal at Applebee's last night, does that mean I had the Summer Ale?

If you've ever had Stone IPA it tastes similar to that. But these are all beers you can't buy here in AL.

Bell's always puts out quality beers. The Oberon and the Amber are some of my favorites. Another plus, with the company located in Michigan there are always plenty of their brews to choose from.

did you ever get to try the Bell's 1800? It was only on sale for a very limited time. A friend of mine is a huge beer guy and got a couple six packs of it, extremely delicious. Oberon is fantastic all the time and the Two-Hearted is also very good, especially out of the tap.

I went to this place last night. It was interesting. I'm not a big beer fan, so I can't really comment on the taste, but I tried the Light beer and the Dunkel and they weren't bad. We got them in huge glass mugs, so it was fun to drink.

It was a pretty fun place. Not many people there since it just opened and it was a Wednesday night. They just had basically a bunch of long tables and live music from some dude playing polka and all that.

I like hops. My favorite these days is Surly Furious out of Minneapolis.

If you're looking for something hoppy to really knock you on your a$$, look for Bell's Hopslam (I don't think they make it year-round) from near Kalamazoo, MI. Careful, it's 10%

What a great day in the state of Alabama. The "Free the Hops" bill passed through the Senate today. All that's left is for the governor to sign the bill and we get beer that has an ABV over 6%. Glorious!!!!!
