Drink lots and lots of water. This really causes you to sweat.

If you feel like you can't finish, just take a longer rest period, don't quit on it.

Make sure you get lots of sleep. This takes more energy out of you than P90X did.

It's a great little system... but it taxes your body heavily.

Whatever you do, PUSH your girl to finish. Make sure you guys are in it together.

Ordered. You guys should get commission. Judging by the sound of this, I should be able to do this thanks to length and lack of equipment need. I'll try doing it in the mornings before clinicals.

How important is the fit test? I wanted to jump into this today but I never like fit tests and I never record any of my results. I just hit the workout.

I didn't do the fit test. No harm in skipping it, I guess you just won't be able to track your progress in that manner. No big deal to me.

I did the max interval plyo workout today. WTF??? That ish whipped my behind. What the heck does push ups have to do with plyos?

I think I'm gonna have to ditch Insanity and only do the workouts 2-3 times a week. My knees just can't take it, even with the "landing softly" and using a yoga mat. Tried to do the cardio plyo again today and had to quit halfway through, my knees were creaking and sore as hell.

I'll probably lift heavy M-W-F and do the first two Insanity workouts on Tue & Thu. Really sucks, I'd love to see the results that completing the full program would bring.

That sounds like a good setup to me. I'm going to do something similar myself.

Any of you guys thinking of combining Insanity with P90X to create a 90 day program?

I've seen some on the net but I was wondering what you guys would recommend. Only 2 more weeks of P90X and then I'm moving onto Insanity.....

At the very least it would benefit everyone doing P90X to ditch their plyo and add one of the Insanity workouts on Tuesday.

I don't think you'll see the same benefit from Insanity by just doing their workouts occasionally.

It beats sitting at home being a fatass though.

Actually, sitting at home being a fatass is pretty awesome. You get to do whatever you want. You get to eat whatever you want. You never have to exert yourself.
