    Dinner went well last night

    1 Whole Wheat Flatbread
    4 oz Grilled Chicken with lemon garlic seasoning
    Roasted Red Peppers
    1 WW String Cheese

    1 Roasted Potato
    1 50 cal carrot and broccoli seasoned mix

    Dessert was:

    100 Calorie snack pack Mint Chocolate Rice Cakes

    I ended at 38 points total where I can have a total of 44 a day. (Yeah, I get the max points..)

    So far this AM:

    1 Slim Fast (I still have more in the fridge, I'm not throwing them out)

      That sounds like a good dinner. I had a bbq chicken wrap with ketchup, mustard and a piece of lowfat swiss. I piled on the bbq chicken so I believe the wrap probably ended up being about 250 calories...so I finished the day at about 1250 calories.

      This morning I had: 2 eggs (140), turkey sausage (140), 2 whole wheat light slices of bread (70), orange juice (light)(40) and a glass of 1% milk (110) for 500 calories total.

            I was going to go Mon-Fri but I'm gonna stop Thursday night. Friday, I have to do yardwork and drive about 4 hours. My yard is an acre. I use a riding mower on most of it, but it takes a little out of me to do the weed eating and to push mow the ditch line since it's a pretty steep slope. I don't want to fall asleep when I'm driving. I don't think going -300 or so calories for the day would help me in the energy department. Probably wouldn't help me reach my destination.

            I woke up this morning feeling great. Clean energy, not hungry, very clear thinking. Sleep is getting better at night, as I'm usually not a deep sleeper. The further I get into fasting the better it is, though. Weighed myself this morning and the scale said 213.

            I would not recommend anyone fast for more than a day for weight loss reasons, and even at that, I would strongly recommend you consult a doctor.

              Slimm are you fasting for religious reasons?

              But yea, I have been trying to stay far away from sugar as possible this year. I think I have been doing a good job.

              My job is having catered breakfast this morning and we are having a "Sweets Social" later. I want to skip the social completely but damn it will be hard. I skipped out on the pizza least week and felt good about it even though the pizza was calling my name.

              I hear they are having a "real" breakfast this morning too. French toast and pancakes and all of that good stuff. Don't know what I am going to do.

                  French toast, pancakes, all that stuff I never liked even when I didn't care about my weight. Now a double sausage mcmuffin with cheese, that would tempt me. Guess i'm just not much of a sweets person really..

                      She's in good shape. She doesn't discourage me from dieting and working out, she just distracts me and I'm too weak to say no to food and booze most of the time. I have to have more self-control. Like last night, I was gonna go workout, sauna, tan, but she had a stressful day @ work and wanted to go get cocktails and food. So I went with her and had a ****-load of Blue Moons and half a pizza. And I payed for it on the scale this morning

                        Dude you have to start compromising with her. You could have said, i was going to go workout, sauna and tan but since you want to go to dinner how about I go just workout for 30 minutes and then we'll go from there? Then either do the sauna and tanning later or not at all, the important thing is just to get the workout part in.

                        Don't give yourself the excuse that because you can't do the whole thing that you can't at least do the workout part I guess is what I'm saying.

                          Sting - could you work out in the morning? One of my problems with working out during the past year was wanting to be home with the wife and kid. I just couldn't justify spending time away from them, and my wife likes it when I'm there. She doesn't nag or complain, but she prefers that we spend time together. When I started working out this year, I started going in at 7AM because I don't usually have to be at work until at least 9AM. If you could do an early workout, you could get what you want and give her what she wants.
