yeah thats why i mentioned cow milk specifically. i've never tried almond milk with cereal. i pretty much gave up on cereal because i didnt want to start off the day with over 80g of carbs in my body. the serving sizes are alittle too ridiculous for my taste.

Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE
Unsweetened rolled oats in a protein shake does wonders for appetitive control in the morning.
Almond milk is what I use in my coffee instead of regular milk / sugar.
Also, many are not aware that non-fat, 1%, 2% milk is unhealthy for you. The process and chemicals used to get it down to that percentage is not good. After a workout, the tried and true chocolate milk is best along with some protein whey for faster absorption.Comment

Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE
I feel you. I used to have a serious cereal addiction. Right now I'm doing Intermittent Fasting, so I really only touch cereal to try and get my calories up. Often I'll have days where I know I'm not eating more than 800-1000 calories. I'm not starving myself, I just am not hungry.Comment

My personal preference: Ironmaster if you are looking for an all-in-one setup for the higher weights. Go powerblocks if you don't have to go beyond 90 lbs and prefer faster weight changes..Last edited by Rules; 01-14-2012, 06:23 PM.Comment

Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE
Very nice, I have 552's, and dumbbells in increments above that, but my little girl's toys are overtaking my workout space, so have to go for space saving. Had some 1090's a little while ago, so know what you mean about that. I'll look at the Ironmaster's too.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE
It's better to do a protein shake immediately upon waking up. Within an hour or so, a real breakfast like eggs with turkey bacon.

Maybe so.
But I'll go through my checklist....
-carcinogens and who knows what else buried in my lungs from the World Trade Center....check
-carcinogens from all the friggin' plastic that burns in house fires nowadays thanks to everything being made cheap as could be....check
-CO poisoning about a dozen times from taking a feed when I ran out of air at work....check!
-Eating Slim Jims and Orange soda when I was a kid....check!
My body is laughing at the "milk process"!!!!
(I know what you're saying, but I'm not giving up milk(COW) in my cereal or half and half in my one cup of coffee per day!!!

Figure out what you should be eating, and eat less then that and the weight will come off.Comment
